Professor Xiao Lin (Joshua) Zhaoâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s current research focuses on hybrid construction utilising seawater, sea sand concrete and fibre reinforced polymers; rehabilitation of aging infrastructure using advanced composite materials; and ultra-high strength steel structures.
