49TH NANTUCKET CHRISTMAS STROLL The crisp December air is full of holiday cheer. Join the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce for the 49th Nantucket Christmas Stroll, a beloved island holiday tradition. This year’s theme of “Sleigh Bells & Seashells” celebrates the festive spirit of the season and the beauty of the island. Picture this: Nantucket, dressed in its winter finery, where every street corner tells a story and every shop window sparkles with festive delight. Here, the spirit of the island comes alive. For nearly half a century, the Stroll has created a sea of memories, of laughter, of joy, and of support for island commerce. Once a modest endeavor to keep local shops open a little longer, it has now blossomed into a grand celebration that engulfs the entire island. Storefronts, adorned with the creativity of local artists, beckon passersby to step into a world where imagination knows no bounds. Restaurants’ culinary maestros concoct seasonal delights that tantalize taste buds and warm hearts. The streets are adorned with a myriad of uniquely decorated Christmas trees. Here, the island embraces each visitor as an old friend.

49TH NANTUCKET CHRISTMAS STROLL Yet, the Stroll isn't confined to the charming downtown alone. Beyond the historic district, Nantucket unfurls its natural wonders, inviting visitors and locals alike to explore. Trails to meander through and pristine beaches invite contemplative strolls. Strap on your helmet and cycle the island's 35+ miles of bike paths. Visit our retail shops located throughout the island. There is sure to be something for everyone on your gift list! On December 2nd, the island comes alive in a symphony of festivities. Santa's Village - Stroll Marketplace, a bustling hub of local creativity, beckons you to savor delectable bites, connect with artisans, and find treasures crafted with love. Santa Claus arrives, escorted by the U.S. Coast Guard, and paraded up Main Street on a charming antique fire truck, a spectacle that captures the essence of the season. The true magic of the Stroll lies not just in its visual splendor but in the intangible connections it fosters. It's a time when families reunite, friends rediscover the joy of togetherness, and strangers become friends. Let’s create new memories at the 49th Nantucket Christmas Stroll…
