WHAT TO DO BEFORE A DETOX? 1. Get Assessed. GGT and Bile Acid on blood test + Google Questionnaire: QEESI or The Idiopathic environment intolerances Symptom Inventory and fill it out. These should be done before and after the detox to note differences. 2. Avoid- avoid toxic exposure. Use ewg.org to find cleanest personal care and cleaning products. Buy a reverse osmosis filter or Berkey filter. 3. Reduce toxic exposure from within- gut infections, toxic thoughts, and food sensitivities (most common are gluten, dairy, soy, corn and eggs) 4. Correct Nutrient Deficiencies- functional medicine testing can help such as the organic acid testing, but getting your basis covered with a good wide spectrum multi-mineral and vitamin. 5. Internal detox: Bowel movements daily, drinking enough water, healthy high vegetable and high fibre diet.

DETOX SOUP 1/2 onion 3-4 cloves of garlic 1 cup leeks 3 tbsp of chives 5 cups of (broccoli, cauliower, Brussels sprouts, cabbage etc‌) 1 cup of sprouted Mung Beans (1cup) or .75 for WOMEN 1. Add 1 tbsp sesame oil or olive oil to a pan, and 1 tsp of fenne, mustard and cumin seeds. Heat for 2 minutes. 2. Add 1 tsp ground coriander, ginger, garlic, turmeric, cumin, and 2tsp sea salt. Heat for another minute. 3. Add mung beans and water (2-3 cups), bring to a boil, and summer for 15-30 minutes. 4. Add vegetables and simmer for another 15 minutes. 5. Divide into three, and consume one serving per meal.
