Finding Om is Jersey resident Rashmi Bismark’s debut picture book. Inspired by her family and experiences sharing mindfulness with her children, Dr. Bismark introduces readers to an accessible illustration of what meditation can look like for a child.

The story follows Anu, an Indian African girl who explores the mantra OM with her beloved grandfather, Appuppa. As her exploration unfolds, she begins to uncover techniques of mindfulness that readers can explore along with her. Full of delightful, vibrant illustrations, Finding Om brings curiosity, joy, and peace alive. This multicultural, intergenerational story is sure to become a staple in classrooms and homes across the world.
