King’s actively encourages students to explore their fields of interest in practice. As we say, “the City is our campus.” Students learn ideas in the classroom and put them to the test in the City through internships, volunteering, and part-time work. They also receive in-depth career development coaching, which includes resume workshopping, practicing interview skills, company visits, and more. In a City that houses the largest number of Fortune 500 companies and hundreds of budding startups, students have countless opportunities to try out careers before they enter the workforce.
94% of the Class of 2018 interned before graduating* compared with the national average of 61%**. 64% had two or more internships.

New York City is the hub of the world. It is home top major news outlets such as CNBC, CNN, and Fox. It is home to major businesses such as Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn. It is home to influencers in art such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Broadway, and the Tribeca Film Festival. It is no accident that we chose New York City for our campus. This is why many of our graduates chose to work in New York City: because this City influences and shapes culture around the world. And because, after four years here as a student, it is now home.

“The way that King’s best prepared me for not just my current job and future career, but for my life, is that King’s taught me how to be a man of character. In my view, job skills are a commodity and you can learn them at most colleges and universities, but learning about virtue and how to cultivate it is rare.” – Carter Private Equity Investors, Inc.

Through its commitment to the truths of Christianity and a biblical worldview, The King’s College seeks to transform society by preparing students for careers in which they help to shape and eventually to lead strategic public and private institutions, and by supporting faculty members as they directly engage culture through writing and speaking publicly on critical issues.
