Knowledge

Interactive elements are a great way to bring the energy and keep guests enthralled at any party. Lacking a brain, the Scarecrow is on a quest for knowledge and we celebrated him in an area resembling a cornfield. This space wasn’t just thought-provoking to look at, but was also a compelling activity to engage with: An artist painted words onto entertainers as part of the installation as a nod to the journey for higher learning. Guests were even encouraged to take part and jot down notes of reflection on paper slips.

Courage

Even hors d’oeuvres can be a chance to surprise and delight guests. We celebrated the Cowardly Lion’s quest for courage with a topiary-inspired space reminiscent of the kingdom he wanted to lead. While guests enjoyed snacks creatively displayed on trees in the space, they were greeted by moss monkeys hanging from the ceiling as a nod to the tale’s Winged Monkeys.

Love

When it comes to entertainment, think outside the box to make a big impact. We paid homage to the Tin Man, who has no heart, in a metallic silver space. The designers didn’t limit themselves to tin, but got creative with materials like tinsel garlands to add visual depth and intrigue to the space. The star of the show was a larger-than-life silver stiltwalker who beckoned attendees to the poke-bowl station tucked behind curtains of tinsel.
