The King of the Ring
THE LEGEND OF MUHAMMAD ALI My story is about the legend of Muhammad Ali. This story is about the life of the great boxing legend. Most people thought that Cassius Clay couldn't make it in his boxing career because he was black. But that definitely didn't stop the young 12 year old boxer. It all started when his favorite and first bike was stolen. He went into a gym crying to ask if anyone had seen it. The boxing couch told him to take out his anger on a punching bag. To his surprise, he was pretty good at punching it. Even without glove so it should of hurt a lot. He went home walking and told his brother to come train with him in the gym. He happily accepted. The next day the coach was surprised with how much better he was doing. In Cassius’s first match this very coach was his corner man. This was the very first match he won. This was where the legend started off. Get ready for the ride of your life. From boycotts to religious conversions to broken jaws. This story is plain awesome THE THINGS I KNEW BEFORE I STARTED Before I started I didn't I didn't really know much. I knew that he was very active and that his father had a habit of drinking and died from a heart attack

WHAT DID I WANT TO KNOW There were so many things I could have learned from this amazing book, but I mainly focused on these five things. I tried to find out how many matches he played and how many times he lost. I
didn't really know much about his family , so I tried to find out who his second wife was. I wanted to know how many children he had. Lastly I tried to find out if he had more than one sibling.
“[I] hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.” Muhammad Ali The New Words I learned

WHAT DID I LEARN While I was reading this amazing book I learned a lot of new things. For example Mohamed Ali made up a poem during his fight with George Foreman. He played 61 matches and won 56 of them. He was beat by George Foreman once then he won the next time. His father almost ruined his life because he had a very severe alcohol addiction. Him and his brother had fun making murals in churches. He boycotted his draft because he did not want to kill

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF SUCCESS FROM THIS BOOK AND WHAT DOES SUCCESS MEAN TO ME?
To this book success's means to Mohammed Ali being successful despite being discouraged many times for being black. Beating 56 people and actually predicting when they would go down. Believe it or not his own brother used to discourage him. To me success means reaching the goals you made while you where a child. And most of all making people proud of you and being a roll model towards millions. Lastly I believe that if you work hard enough until you no longer have to introduce yourself.

A PART OF MY BIAS ARTICLE AND WHY I THINK IT’S BIAS
“Muhammad Ali is the greatest athletes in boxing history, winning both the coveted Golden Gloves title and an Olympic gold medal, among several other honors. Boxer, philanthropist and social activist Muhammad Ali was born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. on January 17, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. One of the greatest athletes in boxing history, Ali showed at an early age that he wasn't afraid of any bout—inside or outside of the ring.” This article is bias because despite having some facts most of them are opinions. Like the first one where it says that he is the greatest athlete. Although he may be the greatest boxer he is probably not the greatest athlete. Actually more than 50% of the population disagrees that he is the greatest athlete.
