Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials on May 31, 2019 a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Some newspaper in its editorial titled "The Three Summits and Deterrence of Iran," said that the three summits being hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aim at sending a strong message to the Iranian regime, that its terrorist conduct cannot continue, and that acceptance of Iran as a natural state in the Middle East cannot come about unless there is a radical change in the structure

of the mullahs' regime, which depends on the idea of "exporting the revolution." Some newspaper wrote about the 14th Islamic summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), saying that the Islamic Summit will be held today in Makkah, preceded by two Gulf and Arab extraordinary summits, and all these summits are important in their regions, although the GCC and Arab summits are different in their broad lines. However, they meet with the Islamic summit on the importance of finding solutions for many issues in which Arab and Islamic interests overlap
