Welcome to the November edition of your Tuffley Link. It’s that time of year again when the clocks go back and Winter starts to feel like it’s setting in. How many of you have already turned the heating on I wonder! I know it’s on first thing in the morning in this house, it’s the only way to get us all up and out of bed! Steve explains “ between us we have over 30 years experience as Gloucester City councillors and have been involved in many aspects of the work of the Council including environmental and planning matters. At least half of the concerns we deal with are matters for the County Council but we do our best to resolve these as well.” Nigel adds “most recently we have been involved in trying to move a yellow road salt bin in Sandford Way , removing weeds and grasses from alleyways and roadside gulleys in Windsor Drive and a clearly abandoned vehicle in Holmleigh Road opposite Grange School .” “Residents have also contacted us about inconsiderate parking , speeding along Grange Road and personal planning issues.” concludes Steve.
