JUMP INTO JUNE WITH WHY

Local cancer counselling charity We Hear You (WHY) are inviting Frome to ‘Jump into June’ and join them in a month of fundraising, with all proceeds to go towards free specialist emotional support for children and adults affected or bereaved by a life-threatening diagnosis.

The charity is hosting various events throughout the month and cheering on two teams of challenge participants as they take on a 10,000 foot skydive and trek the South West Coast Path in Cornwall.

Fundraising Officer Helen White says “Kicking off ‘Jump into June 2023’ in Frome is a live music gig organised by Carol Foster of the Meltones, a close friend of our wonderful founder Jill Miller, also featuring funk/soul band Three Corners and talented young singer songwriter Jude Dylan. Come along to 23 Bath St on 1st June and make a suggested donation of just £5/£10 on the door for an amazing night of music.

No donation is too small and every penny raised will help WHY continue to support the many people who sadly need our help because of the devastating impact of cancer or a life-threatening condition. WHY supports 118 children and adults each week at a cost of more than £6,000, and can only do it because of the generosity of the communities they serve.
