SALON’S 5-YEAR BIRTHDAY

E&E Aesthetics, was one of the first salons in the town offering bespoke beauty treatments focussing on the face, such as microblading and brow treatments. They are passionate about using locally made, locally sourced cruelty-free and vegan skincare in their treatments, such as sweet bee organics, cbd-infused massage oils, teas and chocolates by ganjika holistics.

Emmy, who opened the salon, originally flew to Papua New Guinea with BBC Three to explore the palm oil industry within the beauty industry (YouTube: Makeup’s Big Secret) and feels that sustainability and ethically-sourced products are at the core of the salon’s ethos. The salon was fortunate to survive lockdown and possible closure for health reasons, but it has now expanded and moved to the beautiful new location in Badcox last October. The staff are now celebrating their 5th birthday since opening, a real achievement given the recent turbulent times that many businesses have experienced.

E&E is now offering more services such as laser hair removal, cbd body massage, nail care services and specialist facials including collagen lift, dermaplaning and micro needling. Microblading and semi-permanent make-up are one of the salon’s most well-known treatments, with free consultations to discuss your needs.
