SUMMER DATING IDEAS
Summer…it's the time of the year that most of us like. It is the time for enjoying outdoors, getting hot and sweaty; it is all about lazy, hot days and fun-filled nights. When talking about summer the first things that come to mind are pool parties, beach music, barbecues, ice cream, cold drinks and a lot of fun. Summertime is a few days away and maybe you are wondering how you will spend the season in order to have a lot of fun. Life seems easier in summertime; the hot weather affords you countless creative ways to plan a date. Summer offers a great opportunity to do some fun and creative things that can leave an impact on your date, whether you have already a girlfriend or are looking for one now. Spending an unforgettable summer with your girlfriend is very easy. All you have to know is how to offer her an interesting and funny summer. So, here are some summer dating ideas that might help you:
1. GO TO THE BEACH The beach is very beautiful place where you can have a lot of fun but also be romantic with your partner.
You may go for a long walk on the empty beach when the night is cool.
Dinner on the beach can be a very romantic idea; the two of you can enjoy a special meal and then gaze at the stars. Plan a candlelight picnic on the beach with roses spread along a path leading to your blanket. Make a night of looking at the stars, cuddling and kissing, and also listening to a romantic music.
As I said, at the beach you can have also a lot of fun: you can play ball, beach volleyball, surf, trampoline and even build sand sculptures.
There are also many outdoor festivals and concerts held at the beach.
2. BACKYARD BBQ A casual backyard grill-out is a perfect idea for spending time with your common friends.
4
Enjoy cold drinks, fresh salads and sausages charred to within an inch of their lives.
A BBQ is a perfect date for anyone who has a big interest in cooking and entertaining.
Hosting a BBQ allows you to show off your skills to your mate.
3. FESTIVALS, CARNIVALS & OUTDOOR SHOWS An outdoor festival would be a great chance to bond one-on-one and still buy a little something beautiful for her.
Go see a fireworks display.
Dance at music festivals, and even dance clubs; enjoy dancing outside to a live band.
The festive atmosphere of summer carnivals boosts the fun factor of any date.
Outdoor shows are great if you both enjoy the performance.
4. TAKE HER TO A PICNIC
Prepare her a meal that will impress her.
Choose an interesting location such as the beach or a local park.
Grab an old blanket or sheet, a flashlight and a guide to constellations and stars.
If you like to pay attention to the details, carefully choose the tablecloth, good plates and cups and don't forget the wine.
You can even spend the afternoon eating strawberries and cream in a distant meadow.
5. PLAY SPORTS
If she is the athletic type, have some fun by playing sports such as tennis, horseback riding, roller blading, bicycling and golf.
You can arrange to bowl with your friends; play guys-against-girls or compete coupleagainst-couple.
5
Rent in-line roller skates and make a fool of yourself in the local park.
Go on a nature hike together.
Join a league and play some team sports such as softball or volleyball.
6. LEARN TO SURF
This is a fabulous date idea for those who love to try something new and are not afraid of water.
Sea air and salt water are powerfully invigorating and are also great for the skin.
7. SUNSET CRUISE FOR TWO
Plan a sunset cruise on a sailboat and enjoy the time together in this special atmosphere.
If you know that she likes the water, you can also plan an afternoon boat trip and enjoy the passing scenery.
8. VISIT A WATER PARK
Water parks are a unique source of fun in summer.
Have fun by riding down rapids, shooting down slides or just floating along the lazy river.
9. GO FISHING
Drive to a local lake or river, rent a boat and paddle around and teach her how to fish.
Fishing in the dark can be very romantic, so head out on a boat for a romantic night of fishing by moonlight.
10. VISIT WATERFALLS
Put together a map of nearby waterfalls and spend your day hiking to each of them.
Bring along a picnic lunch and eat beside a waterfall.
6
To be more romantic, you can also swim under the waterfall.
11. PLAN A CAMPING TRIP
Spend private time together during a camping trip.
Camp out in a tent on a secluded area such as a beach or a mountain.
Watch the stars and enjoy a couple sips of perfectly chilled champagne.
12. VISIT THE ZOO
If your town has a zoo, it can be a really fun place to go with your date, especially in the summer when many animals are more active.
The zoo is fun and relaxing place at the same time.
13. OUTDOOR RESTAURANTS It is a usual kind of date to take her out to a restaurant, but outdoor restaurants have a special charm. With a great view and a fresh breeze, these restaurants create a very romantic atmosphere. The scenery changes as dusk falls.
Summer is the season full of joy, fun and excitement. It is not the perfect time to stay at home. So, take your girlfriend and plan all the crazy things you both like in order to have a great time and spend an unforgettable summer together.

Are you ready for some fireworks this Fourth of July, or has your sizzle fizzled? Maybe you are looking for ways to jumpstart your desire, set things on fire again with you and your partner. A little planning can go a long way in and out of the bedroom. Here are some sexy success tips to help you have some hot fun in the summertime starting tonight!
1.
Take a dip to heat things up for summer: Make out in the pool, hot tub, at the beach or in the ocean. Sensual kissing in the sunlight or by moonlight can really get both of you in the mood for love!
2. Try some different positions in bed.
If you find yourself on top most of the time, why not
turn things around? Have your partner ride you for a change. Giddy up!
8
3.
Fantasy Role Play: Try some light bondage with silk scarves. Let your lover tie you and tease you, or you do the tying. Be sure to negotiate everything up front.
4.
Use safe words such as “red light” for stop and “green light” go such to let each other know what you really enjoy and don’t enjoy.
5.
Have a fondue party for two. Feed each other melted chocolate in a fondue pot. Feed each other berries and bananas dipped in the chocolate, or have fun dripping the chocolate and licking it off one another. Then take your party to the couch or bedroom.
6.
Try doing a striptease dance. Put on sexy music and dance. Take a long time lingering, removing each piece of clothing slowly. Tell your lover to watch or let him or her touch you as you dance. This can drive both of you wild with anticipation.
7.
Make some noise while making love. Making sounds or calling your love’s name can be a big turn on (as long as it’s the right name!)
Most of all have fun. Be playful. Be adventurous. Try something new that you always wanted to. As long as you both agree to explore, you might find a new and fabulous secret that you both share!

Dating Romance on Limited Finance By Daryl Campbell
Nobody has to tell you about how severe things are when it comes to the economy. You felt it big time before the experts with money officially started using the "R" word. Sure you got a raise, but it wasn’t anything to write home about. After taxes came out you were not even sure whether you got a pay increase or just imagined it. Not much you can say about it since, at this point, you are just thankful to have a job. A few of your co-workers were not so lucky. They got the pink slip some time back ; and, at times, the office seems like a ghost town. Whether you were good manager of your money before the current state of affairs or not is beside the point. What many of us are facing now is causing us to rethink some of our spending habits.
Going out on a date is one of those spending habits. You may still be able to go to some of the old haunts and spend like you used to; but there’s no getting around the fact that if you do, it will cause a major strain on your finances. That's why it is essential to substitute a few of the previous "money is not a problem" dating habits with some creative, equally fun and, at the same time, money-saving adventures.
1. Festivals.
Usually during
the spring and summer months there is a plethora of festivals indoors and outdoors, which means that there is probably going to be some live music, art and other cultural happenings. While the warm weather months may be the most prominent, many places have festivals all year round. It is easy to get a hold of an event guide at the local libraries, or just go online. You and your date can have fun just deciding which festivals you want to go to. Do
10
some serious investigation when you get there. A couple of vendors may be pricing their goods on the expensive side, but others may be more reasonable. If you want to buy something for your date, see if the merchant is willing to do a little haggling. Sure, some will say no; but others may enjoy the back and forth. This may work in your favor when it comes to what time you show up. If the festival is only going to stay open for a little while longer, the vendor maybe a lot more receptive to negotiating certain prices.
2. Movie Night.
No‌not the one where you and your date go to the local mall,
plunk down ten bucks a piece or more, buy something from the concession stand—which is another fifteen to twenty dollars—and then go see a film that you may or may not like. This movie night means staying in and planning your own motion picture marathon. Like the festival, the two of you have fun deciding what night, which movies and how many you want to view. You also create your own concession stand by making snacks and appetizers that provide more variety, are a lot tastier and way more inexpensive than the ones at your local theater. Yes, you and your date like checking out the new releases; but, if you are not working as a movie critic for some major news outlet, it is okay to let some of them pass. If you are used to going to the movies once a week, then having your own movie night can turn into big savings within a very short period of time. You are not a cheapskate by any stretch of the imagination, and by now your date should have no doubts about your generosity. But recessions have a way of putting the squeeze on people, even those who are pretty well off financially. Therefore it is essential to save money whenever and wherever you can. Accept that the lack of funds is going to force you to be more creative and adventuresome when it comes to the dating relationship. Since that is the case, by all means you might as well enjoy the ride.

Summer Marriage Proposals – Setting the Right Mood! By Sarah Baltic
Romance can be found in any season of the year, and summer has its own special way of bringing couples together. Long days spent at the beach, a stroll on the boardwalk, and fun at the arcades make for a rite of passage enjoyed by lovebirds this time of the year. There is something unique about the slower pace which awakens the heart and sometimes helps to bring forth an idea that has been budding all along – a marriage proposal. Gentlemen, you have an opportunity to propose marriage at the right moment, even if the conditions aren`t exactly what you had in mind. With a little bit of creativity and some work on your part, you can create the right atmosphere whether you find yourselves in formal wear or in beach attire. Yes, it is summer; and we`ve got some ideas to win her hand through special moments created by you. Before you even think about proposing marriage, you need to research the type of engagement ring you want to purchase. You can discover her ring size by asking a close friend or relative. Then do an online search to take a look at diamond rings. The James Allen website offers graphic, 3-D photography which is just as good as holding an engagement ring in your fingers, allowing you to see exactly what you`re buying without having to set foot in a jewelry store. You determine the ring style, number of diamonds, metal and other factors that go into selecting the perfect diamond engagement ring; and you do it in the privacy of your own home without someone steering you into buying something you don`t want or cannot afford. If you choose a James Allen engagement ring, you can order it and have it sent to your home to give to your sweetheart at the right time and place. Relax, if for some reason she doesn`t like it, James Allen has a very liberal return policy, making an exchange or refund a non-issue. However, you can ensure the engagement ring you choose is the right one by finding out what
12
she likes in advance. Again, tap the recommendation of her friends to find out what that might be if not known. With ring in hand, all you have to do is create the right setting. Since it is summertime, a trip to the beach, the park or to the mountains can be a wonderful, natural setting to help relax you both and give you an opportunity to present that diamond sparkler to her in a special way. Some fun ideas can include the following: 
While at the beach, find a clamshell and put the ring in it. While taking a stroll looking for seashells, put the shell down and immediately point it out to her. Jokingly, urge her to look inside for a pearl; and when she opens it up, there is the ring! A word of caution -- not even for one moment do you take your eyes off of the shell when placing it on the sand: both tide and curious seagulls will sweep the ring away in no time!

When heading to the park, there are a number of different ways to present a diamond engagement ring: immediately following a picnic, while boating on the lake or when off exploring a camping area.

If you both like hiking and have thoughts of climbing a favorite peak, that means one thing: you`ll get up bright and early one morning, hit the trail and head to the top of the mountain where you both can survey the scenery below. Much like your lives set before you, the view makes for an opportune time to propose marriage.
The tips shared here should give you some ideas on where to propose, but we`ll leave the important words up to you. After all, she is much more interested in hearing your heart than anything else. Presenting a diamond engagement ring is an outward display of an inward and everlasting commitment, a wonderful way for every marriage to begin!

DANCE CAMP ENROLL IN A
THIS SUMMER By Mari Milian
During summer, people will have a lot of time in their hands. It would be a real pity to spend time "vegetating" at home without doing anything. In order to maximize your time and energy, you can learn a new skill. Dancing is one of the skills that you can try by signing up for a summer dance camp. A summer dance camp is essentially a program which aims to teach the students various dance styles. There are different dance camps that offer programs focusing on detailed dance styles. Some even offer an entire bunch of dancing styles in single summer dance camp program. There are many kinds of dance styles which dance camps offer including hip hop, ballroom, ballet, Irish, jazz, modern and other styles. You can choose to focus on any one style or enlarge your dance move repertoire by learning diverse styles. The summer dance program may also be classified by stage of the enrollee. If the individual is only starting to learn the dance style, there are many beginner summer dance camps. If he or she wishes to learn more challenging techniques
16
and aims to develop skills in a certain style, it is advisable to enroll in an intermediate or an advanced summer dance program. The main advantages of enrolling in a summer dance course are that it is very good for your health (exercise); it will serve as a strain reliever; you'll be learning fresh skills and techniques; and it can expand your imaginative and artistic abilities. One more advantage of dance camps is the time factor. Some dance camps only last for a few days, while other dance camp programs give you more time to practice, learn and cooperate with other people. Just make sure to research well before the start of summer. Try to fill your summer with sunny memories, practice and progressive knowledge with summer dance camps. Synchronized movement of a person's body is a very entertaining form of self-expression. One of the main dancing styles that is very popular is hip hop dancing. It's a dance form that slowly developed as it gradually gained the attention and interest of many dance enthusiasts. This hip hop dancing has developed so big that there are even camps that put forward programs specializing in this style only. Hip hop branches out into diverse dance styles which originate on the street. Some hip hop dancing styles include break-dance, old school, and popping and locking. These styles grew in popularity when hip hop and rap music videos began to showcase various moves from various hip hop dance styles. If you wish to learn the moves seen on television and in different dance competitions, just try a hip hop dance camp. The main advantage of learning at a hip hop dance camp is that you will learn the fundamentals from experienced professionals.

Summertime Sex Appeal: How to Look Sexy and Cool in the Summer Heat By Gian Fiero
Summer represents freedom, recreation and relaxation. It's also the sexiest season of the year. Many men and women will sit on the sidelines as spectators to all the sexiness that takes place during the summer months because they simply don't know how to be participants. The fact of the matter is, everyone has sex appeal, but not everyone knows how to dial it up when desired, or manage it with optimal effects. This article offers tips on how you can boost your sexiness level in the heat of summer. EXERCISE. When the sun is shining bright and the temperatures rise, the number one component to achieving maximum sex appeal is optimal health. I've been an avid runner for years, and I can tell you that the streets are littered with runners attempting to get lean during the summer. Ditto for the attendance at local gyms. Being and staying healthy should not be a seasonal thing. Those who adhere to a consistent exercise regimen have a head start on increasing their sex appeal. Others will have to play catch-up. The benefits of consistent aerobic exercises, yoga or both will set you on the right track with fast results. RADIANCE. Both men and women are subconsciously trying to achieve radiance in the summer heat. The extended, sunshine-filled days keep us under a longer spotlight that exposes our skin (especially when we tend to show more of it) to greater scrutiny. Because we've addressed exercise as the Number One priority in our effort to increase summer sex appeal, we can now reap the benefits of all that sweating: the deep cleansing of our skin which makes it glow. Vigorous sweating improves the tone and texture of the skin which makes it healthy and radiant looking. You can enhance the radiance by drinking more water and increasing your vitamin A intake, which is one of the most important components of skin health. One of the best places to get it is low-fat dairy products in addition to the following fruits and vegetables: artichokes, beans (black, red, and pinto), prunes, and pecans. WOMEN'S MAKE-UP. Once you have improved the health and the radiance of your skin, show it off! Summer is not a time for that plastered, ceramic look. Wear minimal make-up only to enhance; less is more in summer. Skin that breathes and is inviting to the eye and soothing to the touch is the goal you should be aiming for. MEN'S CLOTHES. There's no better time to take a break from over worn jeans than the summer. Trade them in for cotton trousers. On steamy days and for night time affairs, upgrade to the relaxed look and feel of linen. Relaxed is the operative word. A stylish, light weight jacket or cream colored linen blazer is essential for evenings out. Be careful with sandals; opt for the sandal/shoe combo. They are more sophisticated and can be dressed up or down. Flat sandals are a no-no unless worn with very downscale casual attire or swim wear. Also, women love colors. They especially love colorful personalities. What better way to create that appearance than by adding some colorful shirts to your summer wardrobe? Because many men associate pastels and brighter colors with feminine qualities, many men are hesitant to be bold and daring. Snap out of it! Summer is the precise time to be bold and daring. Colors enhance your sexual aura and make you more magnetic.
18
WOMEN'S CLOTHES. I can't say this enough: being sexy is all about being comfortable with one's body and having a healthy attitude about one's self. Nothing you can wear will take the place of it. That being said, if you are a pear-shaped women (which most are; smaller bust with wider hips) you can balance your bottom-heavy figure by choosing dresses that skim over the lower half of the body. Fuller skirts also disguise heavy hips, while showing off the waist. A fitted halter or strapless silhouette -- which accents a trim upper body -- is very flattering for bottom-heavy figures. HIGH HEELS. Hands down, there's nothing sexier than a vibrant woman wearing a sexy dress with a pair of sexy high heels. The combination (and the idea of a woman wearing only four items of clothing) is irresistible to men. High heels lengthen a woman's legs, making them appear taller and more statuesque. They also cause women to take more calculated steps which add an air of sophistication and confidence, in addition to creating a perched effect on their buttocks. Recently there's been much discussion (or press) about the negative effects of consistently wearing high heels. It has been linked to a plethora of foot problems and knee osteoarthritis. The good news is that research has shown that high heels which are wider at the bottom than stilettos (the skinniest of highheeled shoes), provide a happy medium. One doctor, Dr. Maria Cerruto, says two- inch high heels can help improve pelvic floor muscles. Dr Cerruto, a urologist and selfprofessed lover of high heels, set out to prove they were not as bad for women's health as some suggest. Her study of 66 women under 50 found those who held their foot at a 15 degree angle to the ground the equivalent of a two inch heel - had as good posture as those who wore flat shoes. And, crucially, they showed less electrical activity in their pelvic muscles suggesting they were at an optimum position, which could improve their strength and ability to contract. Pelvic floor muscles assist sexual performance and satisfaction and also provide vital support to the pelvic organs, which include the bladder, bowels and uterus. But they often weaken after pregnancy and childbirth, and as women get older. Dr Cerruto said: "Women often have difficulty in carrying out the right exercises for the pelvic zone and wearing heels could be the solution. Long-term studies aside, high heels should be worn in moderation (as much as I love to see women in them). Ultimately, if you are successful in adding summer sizzle to your sex appeal, just remember that the way you feel about yourself will create the sexiest allure of all. The healthier you appear to others, the more robust your sex appeal will become. Once you've got the hang of it, you can stretch out your summertime sex appeal for seasons far and beyond.

Summer Skin Care By Deidra Garcia Sunlight has been clinically tested to improve moods and increase your body’s Vitamin D production and endorphin release. While everyone wants a glowing tan, the sun can also seriously damage your skin if you don’t take precautions. Here are some simple guidelines for capturing that perfect tan and not frying your skin.
The most important factor when picking a sunscreen is to get one that has an SPF of 15 or higher and broad-spectrum protection. This means your skin will be protected from both UVA and UVB rays.
Chemical-free physical sunblocks that contain ingredients like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide reflect harmful rays without reacting with the skin. This means they don’t cause allergic reactions and don’t sting the eyes if they run due to swimming or sweating.
Regularly exfoliating your skin removes the outer layer of dead cells and allows you to achieve a more even tan. However, this also causes your skin to burn more easily, so don’t scrub yourself right before tanning.
20
Lips can chap as easily from sunburn as from exposure to cold and dry air, so make sure to use a lip protection with an SPF of 15 or higher.
Sunscreen should be applied 20 minutes before you go out into the sun to allow the skin time to absorb it. After a half an hour outside, it should be applied again for maximum protection. Most sunscreens only last about two hours, so make sure to apply it regularly, especially if swimming or sweating heavily. Even “waterproof” brands lose their potency after an hour in the water.
Sand and water can reflect up to 90% of the sun’s rays, so give your skin extra protection when at the beach. A stronger SPF is also recommended for higher altitudes, since the air is thinner and sun exposure more intense.
Don’t forget to apply sunscreen to sensitive areas like the tops of your feet, backs of your ears and neck and areas of the scalp and hairline if your hair is thin or thinning.

CHINCOTEAGUE ISLAND VACATION PARADISE By Sam Serio
Just a short drive off Virginia's Eastern Shore lays an island so stunning that its sevenmile length is the vacation destination for more than one million annual visitors, each one of whom arrives to enjoy a taste of paradise. Chincoteague's Island natural beauty, coastal charm and Southern down-home hospitality are what draw them from around the globe to this small place big in romance and tradition. If you decide to take a page from their travel itineraries, you'll soon understand how easy it is to succumb to the spell of Chincoteague. That same spell has captivated the Chincoteague colony of artists, who do their best to capture the spirit and substance of life on their beloved island in paint, sculpture, glass, metal and wood. Chincoteague Island can be your stepping stone to the undeveloped wilds of Assateague Island, the 37-mile barrier island to its east which for millennia has protected Chincoteague from the worst of the Atlantic's legendary gales. Assateague is where you'll find the world-famous ponies of Chincoteague running free. The Chincoteague ponies, except during Pony Penning Weekend, spend their days happily grazing and sunning in and along the marshes, forests and beaches of the Chincoteague Island National Wildlife Refuge at the southern end of Assateague. They share their territory with over three hundred different migratory bird species which make Chincoteague and Assateague the best bird-watching haunts on the entire Atlantic Flyway. 22
You won't understand why the ancient Algonquin Indians named Chincoteague "The Beautiful Land across the Waters" until you've witnessed the sun setting across its marshes or stood on the Assateague shore at dawn as the Atlantic waves tumble along the pristine sands. Spend as much time as you like exploring the solitude of Assateague's protected waterways by kayak, canoe or nature cruise. Cast your line from a deep sea charter for marlin and other great game fish, or dig for a supper of legendary Chincoteague Little Neck clams. Step into the Eastern Shore of yesteryear by reserving your accommodations at one of Chincoteague’s exceptional 19th century bed and breakfasts, one of which was built before the Chincoteague Islanders displayed their characteristic independence by remaining loyal to the Union during the Civil War. Drift off to sleep and awaken again to the gentle whispers of the surf and the island breezes, and start your day's adventure with a breakfast of mouthwatering Southern delicacies. Take time to mingle with the local artisans and shopkeepers. View the ceiling mural at wood carver Jay Cherrix's Sistine Shed, as well as his life-size sculpture of a Chincoteague pony foal. Get up close and personal with Chincoteague's marine life at the Island Aquarium where the touch tank will give you a hands-on introduction to both fish and shellfish. Experience the shellfish in a different way by lunching on clam chowder or crab cakes at one of Chincoteague's several outstanding seafood restaurants. Follow lunch by crossing to Assateague Island on a rented bike for some wildlife viewing on the Wildlife Refuge's loops. Put the perfect ending on your day in paradise by boarding Captain Barry's champagne evening cruise. You'll be entertained with the captain's encyclopedic knowledge of Chincoteague history and enchanted by the sight of the sun setting on Chincoteague Bay!

New York International Fringe Festival Prepare to be amazed by the energy and excitement surrounding the creative and innovative productions at the New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC.) Sailing Cruises in the Caribbean Experience a Fun-Filled Vacation By Lisa Hartwell
These days, cruising is one of the most popular vacation options among avid travelers. For some, the more opulent the cruise ship, the better. Others are hoping for an experience where they can party the night away without a care in the world! But for many real boat lovers, the only choice is a sailing cruise in the Caribbean. Sailing cruises are quite different from a trip on an enormous ocean liner. These cruises allow you to get up-closeand-personal with the true sailing experience and to travel to places where large cruise ships cannot navigate. They give you hands-on opportunities to learn about the intricacies of sailing and allow more interaction with ship mates and crew. Overall, sailing cruises mean adventure, excitement, and romance, all rolled into one fun package.
What’s a Sailing Cruise? Though cruise lines talk about “sailing the seven seas”, passengers onboard these huge ships are not really “sailing.” On a sailing cruise in the Caribbean, you will find yourself on an authentic old-fashioned sailing ship with large, white sails, a ship’s wheel, teakwood floors and everything else you would expect to find on such a vessel. While onboard, you’ll enjoy some of the same amenities as you’d find on a cruise ship, such as activities, shore excursions and good food…but with a bit of a twist. First of all, these ships are much more intimate than a cruise liner, usually carrying 100 to 150 passengers and crew instead of a few thousand travelers. That means you get to know the people with whom you’re traveling.
26
Sailing cruises are less structured than a regular cruise. You’ll find, for example, that you don’t have an assigned seat for meals and that you’re free to sit with different friends at breakfast, lunch and dinner. As a matter of fact, on some sailing cruises, you don’t even need to sleep in your berth. Guests are free to carry their bedding out to the deck and sleep under the stars! Rather than watching a Las Vegas-style show in a 500-seat opulent theater, you may just find yourself belting out sea shanties while hoisting a glass of rum to toast your captain. When it’s time to go ashore, you can still enjoy a variety of excursions from shopping to hiking and mountain biking to exploring the history of your destination island.
Selecting a Sailing Cruise in the Caribbean If you’ve decided that this kind of cruise is for you, you’ll find that there are a wide variety of these so-called “barefoot cruises” from which to select. The most popular company appeared on the scene about 30 years ago—Windjammer Cruises. Their sailing cruises in the Caribbean have been enjoyed by millions of travelers who enjoy a little adventure in their lives. Windjammer boasts excellent ships, exciting itineraries and a friendly crew who are eager to interact with passengers. However, many of the lesser known sailing cruise companies provide an equally rewarding experience but on a somewhat smaller scale, which some travelers prefer. Some are even dubbed “luxury” cruises, featuring upscale amenities, food and drink.
Itineraries Travelers will find that there are quite a few options to choose from as far as sailing itineraries are concerned. A sailing cruise in the Caribbean may take you to exotic locations like the tiny islands of the Grenadines or to more familiar destinations, such as Antigua or St. Martin, and even to places that you’d be hard-pressed to find on a map! The beauty of traveling on a small ship is that you can visit small islands that can’t accommodate a cruise ship, allowing you to explore nearlydeserted locales, dive in some of the world’s clearest waters and investigate nature’s bounty, without having to contend with crowds and chaotic tourist traps.

A New Trend in Exercise By Daniel Samuels
Gone are the days when you have to drive to the gym to get the decent workout that you deserve. In everyone's efforts to make fitness available to those with little spare time and very little budget to actually head out of their houses and offices, several companies such as Nintendo and EA have collaborated to create the best exercise program out there. Having your own gym equipment can also be too dear, and hiring a personal trainer can even weigh heavier on your financial position. The best solution is to get EA Sports’ Wii Active. What makes this the best technological breakthrough to date? First, at the price of $60, it is much cheaper than today's Nintendo Wii Fit. It's a one-time purchase that provides you a lifetimes worth of service. Second, it includes accessories to help you with your positioning as you go through the exercise routine. Third, you can select a variety of games and programs to make your exercise spontaneous and more enjoyable. And last, you can customize your exercise and have your avatar keep an eye on your progress as if you had a private trainer of your very own. Today's generation can get benefits from the latest developments in the realm of technology and health. If someone said years ago that these two ideas were jointly exclusive, they're now proven incorrect. Technology has proved to beat each realm, and it has taken down barriers to show everyone that they all can gain advantages from this latest advance. Stay fit, keep your schedule uninterrupted and make exercise more fun with assistance from EA’s Wii Active. Article Source: http://www.wiiactive.org/

Reviewing the Garmin Street Pilot GPS 7200 – Is the Newest Garmin Street Pilot GPS Better? By Cindy McKie
As with most gadgets, new models of the same device are always being released. The Garmin Street Pilot GPS line has released their 7200 model which is supposed to be the latest, greatest thing in the world of GPS. The question is, is the Garmin 7200 better than the earlier models?
The Features • The largest display screen yet at a whopping seven inches. • Text-to-voice command calls out driving directions and gives you a choice of voices. • Auto calculates routes to any destination. • Comes equipped with a built-in A/V connector which allows you to hook up to a portable DVD player. • Connects to either a Clear Channel or XM channel for up-to-the-minute traffic and weather reports. • Has a built-in MP3 player and audio book player for driving entertainment.
A Very Entertaining GPS This version of the Garmin Street Pilot GPS comes with many new bells and whistles. You can easily drag and drop music from your computer to your 7200 GPS without the need for extra software. Listening to audio books is also an option-great for long commutes or even longer road trips when regular radio stations are not available. You also have the ability to hook up a portable DVD player and entertain those kids so you don't have to hear "Are we there yet?" as much. All in all, the Garmin Company has done a great job of adding extra entertainment features but these are all extras. When you're buying a GPS for driving purposes, does this newer and more expensive model really earn its keep?
30
So does it get you there? Most customers of this latest Garmin Street Pilot GPS system say the driving directions are very accurate. They love the huge screen which makes reading the displayed maps very easy. The added bonus of being able to pick up traffic and driving related weather conditions via two radio station options (Clear Channel or XM satellite) seems to be a real winner with the users of the 7200 Garmin GPS. This model also lets you customize your driving routes to avoid certain areas or roads and gets you out of traffic jams en route with a quick recalculation. Most people who purchased this unit also rave about the model's easy plug-and-play abilities. Simply mount this gadget to your dashboard, turn it on and you're ready to start plotting your first driving route.
The Downside Every gadget has its flaws, and this model of the Garmin Street Pilot GPS is no exception. The most common complaints were that this model does not display street names on the displayed map like other, slightly older models do. This can be tricky if you want to plot a new route on the go and do not know what street you're currently on. On the same note, some users claimed that unless you were driving on a major freeway, this Garmin GPS system did not announce the names of the exit routes available. There were also a few complaints about the mounting hardware that hold the Garmin Street Pilot 7200 in place. The hardware has to be permanently mounted to the dashboard, which didn't go over well with some. Yet others claimed they liked the mounting system and that the Garmin was easy to put in and take out of the mounting system, making it very portable. So it depends on if a permanent attachment to your dashboard bothers you or not.
The Bottom Line Overall if you're looking for a GPS that does more than just tell you where to go, this is probably the unit for you. Alternately, if viewing street names on your maps is important to you, then you may want to skip this newest version of the Garmin Street Pilot and instead try the Magellan Maestro 3200. It does not have all the extras the Garmin does, but it does show all street names and is less expensive.

Summer Ideas with Wine By Fiona Muller
So, summer is here, and there is always a dilemma of what to drink on a hot summer’s day. Yes, a cold lager is refreshing; but sometimes it’s nice to have something different, and lager is a bit much fattening liquid. Wine is perfect for a summer’s day. In this article, we will cover some great summer wines, and also give you a few ideas of how to serve it to make it extra special.
The first thing that comes to mind when talking about wines to drink in the summer is Sauvignon Blanc. This crisp, dry wine is perfect for summer drinking. Just make sure you chill it well to get the optimum out of it. When looking for a Sauvignon Blanc, look for one that comes from New Zealand, as this white wine offers something a little more special. These wines are the best types of wine created from this grape, and the most applauded ones are the ones from the Cloudy Bay or Marlborough areas of New Zealand.
But what if you’re not too keen on dry white wine? There are some really good German sweet white wines which, when chilled, are refreshing and add something completely different to the norm.
Also, a Portuguese
friend of mine keeps her red wine in the fridge, too. She doesn’t like white wine, and swears by a chilled red wine instead, which is great in the Algarve, where the temperatures get quite high.
34
For those of us not quite ready to chill our red wine, there is a middle ground. There are some spectacular rosÊ wines on the market. These are fantastic with picnics and BBQs and also are great to just sit and drink with friends. There is something about the fruitiness of a rosÊ that makes you think of the summers past and the great times that you’ve had.
But there are plenty of other ways to enjoy white wine, too. There is the traditional spritzer or shorle, a white wine mixed with soda or lemonade (depending on whether you like things to be a bit sweeter or not), and served with ice. This is an excellent cooling drink. There is also the Spanish favorite Sangria, red wine put into a jug with fruit, some liqueur and some fruit juice or lemonade. This is the staple drink on the Costa Brava, and is best if left in the fridge for some time to let the flavors mix together to ensure the perfect summer cooler. In Germany, they make something called the Bowle (This is German for punch). This involves fresh fruit, often strawberries or raspberries, which are then mixed with sparkling wine. The result is a fizzy, fruity treat, which will cool you down nicely. If you are feeling particularly adventurous, you can add a splash of brandy to the mixture to give it some extra fizz. So, whatever style of drinking you have, there is a summer solution for wine which will suit you.

By Sandee Lembke When most people host summer parties, they usually have the basic alcoholic beverages, like beer and wine, but rarely do you see a host offer a selection of really special summer drinks. I have perfected my list of offerings over the years, and now I share my "Top 5 Most Requested Summer Drinks" with you (in no particular order). Limoncello Mint Lemonade
1/2 cup lemonade concentrate 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice Ice cubes 1/4 cup Limoncello (lemon liqueur) 1/2 cup club soda Lemon slices and mint for garnish
In a small pitcher, "muddle" mint leaves together with lemonade concentrate and lemon juice. Muddle means to bruise the leaves so they release their flavor. I use the end of a wooden spoon. Stir in ice cubes, Limoncello and club soda. Pour into 4 glasses. Top them off with a lemon slice, a sprig of fresh mint and an umbrella. Pomegranate Blueberry Martini This cocktail is made with 1/2 juice, so it is not as strong as most martinis.
1/2 part vodka 1 part pomegranate mix (I use "Rose" brand) 1 part pomegranate blueberry juice (I use "Tropicana" brand) Orange slices for garnish
Shake ingredients with ice for one minute in a martini shaker. Pour into some martini glasses and garnish with an orange slice. Crisp and refreshing! Pineapple Bleu
2-oz. Hypnotic Liqueur 1-oz. Grey Goose Vodka Splash of pineapple juice Lemon twist for garnish
Shake together Hypnotic, vodka and ice until chilled. Pour into a martini glass, top with pineapple juice and garnish with a lemon twist and an umbrella.
36
Sangria Punch This one is great for summer barbeques because you can easily make it a pitcher at a time or can serve it from a punch bowl.
1 lemon 1 lime 1 orange 1-1/2 cups rum (spiced rum works well, too) 1/2 cup white sugar 1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry red wine 1 cup orange juice
Chill the fruit, rum, orange juice and wine. If desired, make ice cubes out of the orange juice. This is a good way to keep drinks icy cold without diluting them. Slice the lemon, lime and orange into thin rounds and place in a large glass pitcher. Pour in the rum and sugar. Chill in refrigerator for two hours to develop the flavors. When ready to serve, crush the fruit lightly with a wooden spoon and stir in the wine and orange juice (cubes, if you made them). Adjust sweetness to taste. Fruited Brandy Punch This one has become a favorite at my home and a lot of the parties I attend, most likely because everyone loves it; and you can make a huge amount and serve it in a punch bowl.
1/2 part brandy (I use Christian Brothers brand) 1 part lemon-lime soda 2 parts fruit juice (Cranberry-Peach blend is my favorite) 1/2 bag frozen fruit (Blueberries and strawberries look great) 1 fruited ice ring (see recipe below) Slices of lemons, limes and oranges, if desired
Mix fruit juice and frozen fruit together in a nice punch bowl or container. Pour in lemon-lime soda, gently stir and then float an ice ring on top. Rather than spike the punch, I serve the brandy on the side so my guests who prefer non-alcoholic punch can drink it, too.
So, now you have five classic summer cocktails to WOW your guests with. They will be so surprised when you hand them one of these special summer drinks instead of the usual beer and wine.

Grilled corn on the cob is a traditional summer favorite and a great addition to any barbeque. But if you mess it up and serve up a bunch of dry, tasteless corn cobs, you'll have a whole lot of unhappy guests on your hands. But have no fear. You're about to learn a simple method of grilling corn on the cob that will have your friends saying, "Forget the burgers and ribs...pass me the corn! The secret to grilling corn on the cob is to boil it in sugar water before placing it on the grill. This will make your corn sweet and tender. It also reduces grilling time which makes burning less likely.
38
Here’s what you need to Do Step by Step:
Put your corn in a big pot of water and pour in a bit of sugar. Turn the heat on high and bring it to a boil. Let it boil for about 7 to 10 minutes. You can use a fork to poke at the cobs until they reach the tenderness you like. When they're done, remove them from the heat and use tongs to safely take them out of the water. Dry them off carefully without burning yourself. They're now cooked through, and you can eat them as is if you like; but I prefer grilling corn on the cob to give it even more flavor. Just place them on the grill over medium heat and baste them with a little butter, salt and black pepper. Let them grill until the kernels start to brown and then remove them. Add a little more butter while they're still hot, and you'll have the most delicious corn on the cob you've ever tasted! Now that you know how easy grilling corn on the cob is, you can pick up many more of the best grilling tips at http://how-to-barbeque.com.

Tempting Baja Fish Tacos Topped With Avocado Sauce Have you ever tried a fish taco recipe? You really won't know how good it is until you give this one a try. Not only is it healthy, but it's delicious. These Baja fish tacos call for marinating the fish before grilling and then serving them in warm corn tortillas topped with a wonderful creamy avocado sauce. Now that the weather is getting warmer, this recipe requires firing up the BBQ. Heck, you could have a party, serve this recipe with some rice and beans, and you've got a great meal. Oh yeah, you'll probably want to serve some margaritas, too. Marinade:
3/4 cup teriyaki sauce, or soy sauce 1/4 cup olive oil Juice from 2 limes 4 cloves of garlic, sliced 2 lbs. of fish (cod, halibut, red snapper or shark work well). Plan on 1/4 to 1/3 lb. of fish per person, depending on what else you are serving.
Avocado Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup sour cream 1 1/2 med. Hass avocados 1 1/2 tsp. apple cider vinegar 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, not granulated and does not contain salt 3 scallions, finely chopped 2 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded and cut into small pieces Salt to taste
Other Ingredients:
3 cups shredded cabbage 12 corn tortillas (two for each serving) 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese slices of avocado
40
Marinate the fish in a dish or zip lock bag and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Prepare the avocado sauce: Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream and avocado with a masher in a bowl. Add the apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, scallions, chili powder, lemon juice and salt. Mix well. Fold in the cucumber chunks. Cover and place in the refrigerator until needed. Just before you start grilling the fish, wrap 12 corn tortillas in foil and place in a 250 degree oven. If you don't want to, or can't, BBQ the fish, you can just sautĂŠ it on the stove. BBQing gives it a nice flavor and keeps the calories low. Before you put the fish on the barby, brush the grate with oil to keep the fish from sticking. I use canola oil but any will do. Fish cooks quickly depending on how thick the pieces are. It's done when the flesh is flaky. Avoid over cooking the fish as this will dry it out. It usually takes about 5 to 6 minutes per side. Turn the fish over carefully so as not to lose it through the grate. When the fish is done, place it on a platter and cover to keep warm. Take the tortillas out of the oven and place two on a plate slightly over lapping each other. Break the fish apart into chunks, and remove any noticeable bones. Spoon some fish onto the center of the tortilla. Add a couple tablespoons of avocado sauce on top of the fish. Sprinkle cabbage and cheese on top and fold the tortillas over. You could also bring all the fixings out to the dinner table and invite your guest to make their own. Don't forget to serve rice, beans and margaritas for a complete and festive meal. This fish taco recipe will make about 6 servings.

Think the Perfect Swimsuit Doesn't Exist?
Think Again With These Swimwear Tips By Melissa Miers
Bathing Suit Basics It’s bathing suit season again and while the thought may send some women screaming and running for the hills, there is hope in finding the perfect swimsuit to show off your assets. While the right swimsuit is a vital staple in your wardrobe, it is important to remember that swimsuits are not sized like most clothing. In fact, you should try one to two sizes larger than your normal clothing size. Even if you are hesitant to go up a size, don’t get caught up in the number. The right fit is what counts. When you find a suit that you like, lift your arms, bend over, sit down, and walk around to make sure it is not going to gather or ride up. With so many styles of swimsuits on the market, it is important to take note of what works for your body and what does not. For example, when shopping for a tankini, make sure the stomach portion of the suit lies flat against your stomach but is not too tight. If it is too tight, your stomach will bulge causing more harm than good. When choosing patterns, remember that vertical stripes are more flattering than horizontal stripes. In fact, striped patterns with different sized lines look the best.
Bottoms Up When trying on a swimsuit bottom, make sure your skin is not bulging from the waist or leg area. If it does, again, try going up a size. If the problem is still there, consider a different style bottom. In general, a bottom with a leg opening an inch below the hip bone is the most flattering.
42
Remember, bottoms stretch when they get wet. Make sure the bottom fits snug enough that it won’t look droopy when it’s wet. Boy shorts do not disguise hips, large bums, or large thighs – in reality they only accentuate your problem areas.
Get a Supportive and Stylish Lift If you are looking for a top with an underwire, it should fit like your best-fitting bra. The underwire should lie flat against your skin without any breast sneaking out of the bottom. For most ladies, side cleavage is an issue. Starting at your underarm, ¾ of the breast should be covered. And for large busts, a halter top or an underwire top provides the best support and coverage. Halter tops with a wider band provide the most support. When it comes to swimsuits, cleavage isn’t everything. Most women like to emphasize their bust, but over-padding is not the answer. Steer clear of large, push-up pads. The foam holds water like a sponge and tends to pull the top down resulting in a saggy look that is not attractive. If you want to add a little extra padding to your top, choose a thin pad that looks natural. Most pads can be cut to fit any style top. To prevent the pad from slipping, insert the pads into the lining of the top or sew the pads into the top.
Finding a style for your shape All of this swimsuit advice can be mind boggling when you are on the hunt for a swimsuit, but just keep the following style tips in mind when shopping and trying on swimwear:
43
• Short Torsos: Vertical stripes or prints will make your body look longer. • Long Torsos: High leg lines and low necklines shorten body length. Stay away from vertical stripes. • Hide Your Tummy: Styles that focus the eye in other places are best. Try a printed top with a solid pant. Also, try a one-piece that is slimming in the torso or that will move the eyes toward the bust line. Tankinis also work great at hiding your tummy. • Boy-Shaped Body: Look for styles that create a waist. Avoid plain suits.
• Small Chest: Bold prints and bold colors always flatter. Bandeau tops only put emphasis on small chests. • Large Chest: Support should be your number one concern. Underwire tops will provide the best support. Halter tops, especially ones with a wide band, also provide good support. Stay away from patterns that emphasize the bust. Try a solid top with a printed bottom. • Large Hips or Saddle Bags: Draw attention to your top half. Choose styles with vertical stripes, dark slimming colors or with bust details. Try a solid pant with a printed top.
Swimwear Care Tips Once you find the right swimsuit, you want to take extra special care of it. Follow these tips to keep your swimsuit ready all year long: • Always rinse your swimsuit with regular tap water after swimming. You should hand wash your suit with a mild liquid detergent. Some “hand washing” detergents can cause colors to bleed. Mild soaps, such as Ivory®, work best. Avoid all chlorine-based bleach products, spot removers and dry cleaning. Never use bleach and never put your swimsuit in the washing machine!
44
• The best way to dry your suit is to lay it flat in natural air. Never put a swimsuit in the dryer or wring it out!!! Avoid putting your swimsuit away until it is completely dry. If it is stored while still wet, it could become discolored. For the same reason, avoid leaving your wet swimsuit in a bag or wrapped in a damp towel. • When applying oil-based sun tan lotions, minimize direct contact with your swimsuit. The oils naturally cause the swimsuit elastics to breakdown. • Hot tubs and highly chlorinated water can cause your swimsuit to fade. Also, these water conditions can cause embellishments to fade or fall off of the suit. Limit your swimsuit’s exposure to hot or highly chlorinated water or wear an older suit in these conditions.

Sunglasses 101:
Simple Guidelines for Buying Shades By Art Gib Whether your budget is better suited for Wal-Mart or Prada sunglasses, there are a couple things you should know about buying a pair of shades before you walk into a store. Safety Believe it or not, sunglasses were originally designed to protect your eyes rather than to promote a certain image. As their name implies, the foes that sunglasses were built to combat is the sun itself. After all, even though the sun can keep you warm, elevate your emotional mood and help your body produce Vitamin D, it can also create chemical reactions in your eye that damage the optical issue and destroy your vision. To protect your eyes against harmful UV rays and the visible blue light which is reflected off of snow and water, look for sunglasses with high levels of UV protection. Polarized lenses can also increase your eye protection. Every pair of sunglasses should be labeled to indicate the level of protection they provide for consumers.
46
Build Build includes everything from the materials used to the weight and design of the sunglasses. For the most part, sunglasses are made with plastic or glass lenses. The plastic lenses are actually stronger and lighter than glass, but more they are prone to scratching as well. That’s why many people opt to buy scratch-resistant models. Style Even though style has very little to do with the usefulness of a pair of sunglasses, it tends to be an important factor for many buyers. If you want a few simple rules for picking out a style, my advice would be to pay attention to your face shape and your wardrobe. In general, consumers want to buy a lens shape that contrasts with their face shape. For example, if you have a round face, look for square lenses, if your face is tall, look for shorter styles. If you coordinate the design to match your face, it accentuates your features to the point that everything looks round, square, squat or tall. Wardrobe is another important factor when you are concerned with style because most people have a certain color that they wear a lot. If your sunglasses don’t go well with your wardrobe, you are less likely to use them as much as you hoped when you made the decision to buy them. Of the three criteria discussed in this article, safety is definitely the most important. But the build and style can have a large impact on how much use you can get out of your investment. Personally, I always like to try on a pair of sunglasses before I buy them (to test how they feel and how they look) but online stores can sometimes offer better deals because they have lower overhead costs. If you do buy a pair of sunglasses online, make sure they have a good return or exchange policy.

Exotic Lingerie For Hot Summer Nights!
By Anne Harvester
Lingerie is a French term for "linen washables." Before cotton was more accessible in Europe, underwear was crafted out of linen. Today, lingerie refers to women's undergarments that are stylish and sexy. You will find exotic lingerie made out of silk, lace, nylon, satin, polyester and Lycra in differing combinations depending on the article of clothing. Sheer lingerie offers an appealing option for those who might not want to sleep in the nude yet wish to have the lightest clothing possible next to their skin. Sheer and sexy lingerie in many alluring styles, ranging from a short baby doll nightgown all the way to a full peignoir or negligee, is available.
48

The Ultimate Summer Holiday Toolkit – Beach or Pool By Summer Fisher
Here is a quick rundown of everything you need to be stylish, chic and stay cool this summer.
FAKE TAN
The best way to have a glowing bronze hue on your summer holiday comes out of a bottle. A couple tips: 1. Add some moisturizer for the first few times until you get used to using a new brand. 2. Exfoliate before you apply your tan; it will minimize streaks and blotchiness and give you a nice even, look.
SUN SCREEN
Exposure to ultraviolet light, UVA or UVB, from sunlight accounts for 90% of the symptoms of premature skin aging, including skin cancers and wrinkles. So there you have it, sun exposure causes wrinkles....if that's not enough reason for you to slap on the 30+ SPF, I don't know what is. Most people use sunscreen improperly by not applying enough, using only 25% to 50% of the recommended amount. Sunscreen should be applied liberally enough to all sun-exposed areas that it forms a visible layer on initial application. Applying 30 minutes before going out in the sun is ideal as it takes 20 to 30 minutes for sunscreen to be absorbed by the skin. Sunscreen should also be applied over moisturizers and foundations, especially on the face since some sunscreens can break down in the presence of water contained in these products.
SWIM SUIT
Choosing a swimsuit that's right for you can be quite a challenge. If you would rather stick pins in your eyes than go swimsuit shopping, check out online stores. You'll always be more comfortable trying on swimsuits in your own home than under the glaring lights of your local store change room.

SUN GLASSES
Face down summer's glare with cool shades. Whether it's the classic look or this season's statement styles, don't leave home without them. If you don't know where to turn when it comes to the shape of your glasses, go for the aviator. This frame flatters most faces and will never go out of style.
FLIP FLOPS
While flip flops can be a fashion no-no in the city, they are essential for getting you from the beach to the pool and back again without burning your feet.
KAFTAN
These fashion pieces have become more stylish in recent years; and whether they are chiffon, cotton or silk, kaftans are perfect to throw over a swimsuit to have lunch by the pool or a glass of champagne at sunset on the beach.
WATER
Your water intake should increase by about 30% in summer. With the weather heating up, your body will be using more water. Challenge yourself to drink two liters a day. This is crucial for your body to function at the optimal level. Besides, which celebrity is ever photographed without a bottle of water in hand?
