CS4
 
 1. Open
New
Photoshop
File:

File
>
New

2. Copy
New
Photoshop
File
Information
Exactly
as
Below:

3. You
should
see
this
checkered
window
open:


4. Select
the
“Horizontal
Type
Tool”
located
here:

5. Select
your
Font
at
the
top
of
the
Toolbar
and
start
typing
in
the
 checkered
window.
Please
note:
You
can
also
select
font
color
at
the
top
 of
toolbar.


6. You
can
get
creative
with
font
colors,
sizes
or
even
add
a
small
graphic.
 Once
you’ve
completed,
you
can
crop
the
checkered
background
so
that
 it
only
includes
the
watermark
design
as
seen
below:

7. Save
as
a
PSD
file.


8. Once
you’ve
successfully
saved
the
watermark
as
a
.psd
file,
you
will
 create
a
brush
for
your
new
watermark
as
follows:
Edit
>
Define
Brush
 Preset.

9. Create
a
name
for
your
new
watermark
brush.


10. Now
you
can
find
the
new
watermark
brush
under
your
Brush
Tool
tab
 and
use
it
as
you
would
any
other
brush
tool.

You
can
change
the
colors
 and
opacity.

11. If
you
want
to
use
the
original
watermark
with
color,
go
to:
File
>
Place
 >
Select
the
watermark.psd
file
(Saved
in
Step
#7).

Adjust
the
size
and
 place
on
your
photo.

Right
click
to
permanently
place
on
photo.

There
you

be
able
to
download
find
 different
fonts,
but
also
find
small
graphics
perfect
for
watermark
