Misleading Ads in violation of DMR Act he Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently detected several cases of misleading advertisements of Ayurvedic products making false claims of reducing obesity and increasing stamina. The state drug regulator has issued notices to leading news dailies stating that products advertised contravenes the provision of Section 3(d) and Section 4 of the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable advertisement) Act (DMR Act) 1954. This is part of the government's ongoing campaign to curtail misleading advertisements with false health claims. DMR Act seeks to curtail undesirable advertisements pertaining to drugs and magic remedies because advertising is considered to encourage self medication of harmful drugs. The Act lists the diseases and disorders in respect of which advertising is banned under Section 3 of the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act, 1954. In its notice, Maharashtra FDA has stated that advertisement of Ayurvedic products called ‘Razor Slim’ and ‘Play Win’ capsule published in the said dailies is objectionable under the DMR Act. The advertisement makes false claims that the said products are for the condition of treatment of obesity and increasing stamina respectively. According to the notice, the regulator has requested and directed the publication to immediately stop the broadcasting of said advertisement in the larger interest of public. The Maharashtra state FDA served 1,434 notices to various print and electronic media across the state

in the fiscal year 2013-14 under the DMR Act. According to official sources, over 90 per cent of notices served are to the electronic media alone. Around 160 notices were served in Thane and 121 in Mumbai alone for violation of the DMR Act. In its recent raid for noncompliance to DMR Act, Ayurvedic drugs worth Rs.2.04 lakhs were seized from the premises of a Mumbai based firm. These Ayurvedic drugs were mixed with allopathic medicines in contravention to the provisions of the DMR Act, 1954.According to a recent report, print advertising volumes of over the counter (OTC) medicines grew 14% during January to September this year compared to the same period last year. The growth, in terms of numbers, is not extraordinary but eight out of 10 top advertisers are engaged in the manufacture of ayurvedic proprietary medicines.The top advertiser was Prince Pharma followed by PanjonPharma and RatanAyurvedicSansthan. Nutricharge tablets, Musli Power Xtra and Speed Height Capsule led in the print medium.The ‘OTC Products Range’ category, with 32% share, led OTC sector advertising in print, followed by ‘Health Stimulant/Ginseng’ and ‘Vitamins/Tonics/Health Supplements’ with 25% and 22% shares respectively.Experts said Ayurvedic OTC drugs have potential due to the ease in information dissemination, as everything is available online. The value of the Indian Ayurvedic OTC market is over Rs 8,000 crore, with an expected compounded annual growth rate of 18-20%.

Also, the industry produces abundant drugs to cure lifestyle diseases.The industry is dominated by small and medium enterprises that are generally budget conscious. Print being a reasonable medium to advertise in, which is also approachable for the targeted audience, fits the industry best.The objectionable advertisement of the Ayurvedic drugs were also being published in newspapers where the drugs were shown to cure ailments like cancer, hormonal disturbances, female genital tract problems, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, enhancing the breast cup size, etc.The Intelligence Branch of the Maharashtra FDA seized the stock of Leucwin syrup, Leucwin capsules, Kaya Cure Churna, NariAmrut syrup, DiabHariChurna, Raj Pro Xtra Power, Mood on Forever capsule based on a tip-off.The main objective of DMR Act is to control the advertisement of drugs in certain cases and to prohibit the advertisement connected with remedies alleged to possess magic qualities and to provide for matters connected therewith. Under the DMR Act, the definition of "Magic Remedy" includes a talisman, mantra, kavacha and any other charm of any kind which is alleged to possess miraculous powers for or in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of any disease in human beings or animals or for affecting or influencing in any way the structure or any organic function of the body of human beings or animals.

NEWS Dr Reddy's suffers major setback as net dips by 77% in Q1, scrip nosedive by over 5% Mumbai : Dr Reddy's Laboratories (DRL) has suffered major setback and its consolidated net profit for the first quarter ended June 2016 declined sharply by 77 per cent to Rs. 146.2 crore from Rs. 642.5 crore due to impact of US FDA warning letters received in in November 2015 regarding cGMP.. EBDITA also moved down to Rs. 457 crore from Rs. 1,063 crore. The company's net sales declined by 14.5 per cent to Rs. 3,164 crore from Rs. 3,701 crore. With lower profit, EPS declined to Rs. 9.06 from Rs. 37.99 crore. The company bought back and extinguished 50.77 lakh equity shares for an aggregate purchase price of Rs. 1,569 crore.The poor performance impacted the scrip movements on BSE and DRL scrip declined by almost 5 per cent or Rs. 162 in the afternoon session to Rs. 3,312.75 and likely to go down further in few more sessions. The sales of global generic business declined sharply by 17.4 per cent to Rs. 2,646 crore from Rs. 3,203 crore. Global generic sales contributed 78.3 per cent to its revenues. Similarly, sales of proprietary products declined to Rs.

62 crore from Rs. 69 crore. However, pharmaceutical services and active ingredients (PSAI) sales increased by 10.9 per cent to Rs. 631 crore from Rs. 569 crore. Its generic sales in North America declined by 16 per cent to Rs. 1,552 crore from Rs. 1,852 crore in the corresponding period of last year basically due to increased competition in valgancyclovir and asacitidine, coupled with pricing pressure and moderation in volumes off-take. Similarly, generic sales in Europe also declined by 16 per cent to Rs. 162 crore from Rs. 191 crore. Its sales in Russia improved slightly by 2 per cent to Rs. 230 crore. However, its generic sales in India improved by 10 per cent to Rs. 522 crore from Rs. 476 crore. The sales of PSAI in North America improved by 11 per cent to Rs. 64 crore from Rs. 58 crore. PSAI sales in Europe declined by 17 per cent to Rs. 195 crore from Rs. 235 crore and that in India also moved down by 44 per cent to Rs. 37 crore from Rs. 67 crore. PSAI sales in RoW declined by 14 per cent to Rs. 173 crore from Rs. 201 crore. Other expenditure for the quarter includes foreign exchange loss of Rs. 384.5 crore on account of currency devaluation and translation of monetary assets and liabilities using SIMADI/DICOM rate pertaining to the company's Venezuelan subsidiary. Its R&D

expenditure increased by 9 per cent to Rs. 48 crore and R&D expenditure stood at 14.8 per cent of sales. Cumulatively 78 generic filings are pending for approval with the US FDA. Of these 76 ANDAs, are Para IVs out of which it believe 18 have 'First to File' status. During the quarter ended June 2016, DRL filed 19 DMFs and its cumulative number of DMF filings reached at 784. G V Prasad, co-chairman and CEO, said, â&#x20AC;&#x153;We have come through a very difficult first quarter, with our top and bottom lines impacted by a decline in volume growth, particularly in the US market and the loss of business in Venezuela. However, we continue to take actions that focus on remediation, strengthening our quality systems and executing on our strong product pipeline. EPS moved up to Rs.13.58 as against Rs.9.78 in the last period. The company's domestic sales improved by 9.5 per cent to Rs.162.21 crore from Rs.148.20 crore and international sales up by 22.9 per cent to Rs.296.88 crore from Rs.241.55 crore. Its emerging markets business grew by 20 per cent with sale of Rs.287 crore. Africa contributed Rs.194 crore and Asia contributed Rs.93 crore. Currency devaluations and forex scarcity in select geographies continue to pose challenges and may put pressure. Its US sales increased to Rs.10 from Rs.3 crore in the same quarter of last year. With strong performance, Ajanta Pharma scrip moved up by over Rs.63 in the afternoon session on BSE to over Rs.1,714. The scrip touched to its yearly high level at Rs.1,745.Its R&D expenditure increased to Rs.32 crore from Rs.18 crore in the last period. It has 11 final ANDA approvals and 14 awaiting

approval with US FDA. The company targets to file 8-12 ANDAs per year. The solid dosage formulation facility at Dahej is taking regulatory filing batches and will be commercialised from April 2017. Similarly, the construction of new formulation facility at Guwahati, Assam is on course to be operationalised by March 2017. Its R&D centres for formulation development and API are located at Mumbai, having a team of over 750 scientists. Rajesh Agrawal, Jt. managing director said, “We have started the year well with first quarter posting healthy set of numbers. During the quarter, we have received 2 ANDA approvals – some of which have been commercialized in US and other well be commercialized shortly. We are excited with the prospect of building the US business with our select ANDA portfolio in coming year. As per the plans, our R&D spend has increased to 7 per cent of the revenue for the quarter towards developing the identified products for sustained growth in future.”

Phase 3 ICT-107 trial& phase 1 trial of ICT-121 in lead cancer immunotherapy programmes Therapeutics, Ltd. IinmmunoCellular (ImmunoCellular) reported progress its two lead cancer immunotherapy clinical programmes: the phase 3 registrational trial of ICT-107 for newly diagnosed glioblastoma and the phase 1 trial of ICT-121 for recurrent glioblastoma. In the ICT-107 phase 3 registrational trial, as of July 21, 2016, 109 patients have been screened in the US and Canada, with plans to randomize qualifying patients once they have completed standard of care and are re-screened (patients randomized in the trial are treated approximately 90 days following initial screening). In addition, clinical supplies (ICT-107 and placebo) for 12 patients have been manufactured. ImmunoCellular also reported that 56 clinical sites in the US and two sites in Canada have been activated, representing almost half the total number of the planned 120 sites for the trial. ImmunoCellular has made progress toward initiating patient recruitment in Europe. The first clinical sites in Europe are anticipated to be activated in the third quarter of this year, and regulatory approval to begin the trial has now been received in the UK, the Netherlands and Spain. ImmunoCellular anticipates receiving regulatory approvals from all eight European countries participating in the trial in the third quarter of this year. In addition, ImmunoCellular's European manufacturer, PharmaCell B.V., has notified it that their process is now qualified to manufacture ICT-107 under Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). As previously disclosed, in September of 2015, The California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) awarded ImmunoCellular up to $19.9 million toward financing the ICT107 phase 3 trial. This award is distributed to ImmunoCellular in milestone payments that are primarily dependent on patient enrollment and randomization. In June 2016, ImmunoCellular amended the terms of its award from CIRM to (i) increase the project initial payment by $1.5 million, and (ii) reduce the potential future milestone payments by a

corresponding $1.5 million. The potential total amount of the award from CIRM remains at $19.9 million, inclusive of amounts received to date. On July 18, 2016, ImmunoCellular received the $1.5 million payment from CIRM related to the increase in the project initial payment. To date, ImmunoCellular has received $5.5 million from CIRM. ImmunoCellular also reports that the phase 1 open-label trial of ICT-121 in patients with recurrent glioblastoma has completed enrollment, reaching the target of 20 patients. The trial is being conducted at six sites in the US and preliminary results are expected within the next 12 months. "I am pleased with the progress ImmunoCellular has made in implementing our ICT-107 and ICT-121 clinical programs," said Andrew Gengos, ImmunoCellular chief executive officer. "We continue to work diligently to advance these programmes, as glioblastoma remains a high unmet medical need for which new treatments are needed. We appreciate the interest in our programs from the oncology community and our collaborators." ImmunoCellular Therapeutics, Ltd. is a Los Angeles-based clinical-stage company that is developing immunebased therapies for the treatment of brain and other cancers. Marketing approval for Onivyde for metastatic adenocarcinoma of pancreas Shire plc announced that the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) adopted a positive opinion recommending the marketing authorization for the use of Onivyde (irinotecanpegylated liposomal formulation) also known as nal-IRI or MM-398, for the treatment of metastatic adenocarcinoma of the pancreas, in combination with 5fluorouracil (5-FU) and leucovorin (LV), in adult patients who have progressed following gemcitabine based therapy. “There has been little improvement in the prognosis for patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer in over 20 years. We therefore welcome the CHMP positive opinion for Onivyde, a

regulatory milestone which brings us a step closer to helping patients with this devastating disease.” said Philip J. Vickers, Ph.D., Head of R&D, Shire. “At Shire, we are committed to research and development through innovation in order to identify unique methodologies for treating patients with high unmet needs.” Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer death in the region and there are limited treatment options available. In September 2015, the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) stated that use of MM-398 (Onivyde) when available in all countries, may be the best option for second-line treatment of these patients following gemcitabine-based therapy. Gemcitabine-based therapy is commonly used as a first-line treatment for patients with metastatic disease or locally advanced disease who cannot be treated with surgery, or as adjuvant therapy. “Guidance from ESMO indicates the use of Onivyde for the treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer in patients who have progressed following gemcitabine-based treatment,” said Volker Heinemann, M.D., Ph.D., a professor of medical oncology at the University of Munich, Germany. “The CHMP positive opinion for Onivyde is an important step for patients with this devastating disease.” The CHMP positive opinion is based on pivotal, phase 3 NAPOLI-1 data that demonstrated nal-IRI combined with 5-FU and LV improved overall survival (OS) (primary endpoint), as well as progression-free survival (PFS) and objective response rate (ORR) relative to the 5-FU and LV control arm (secondary endpoints). The most common Grade 3 or higher adverse events with greater than five percent difference in patients receiving nal-IRI and 5-FU and LV were neutropenia, fatigue and diarrhoea, and vomiting. “The CHMP positive opinion confirms the strength of the phase 3 NAPOLI-1 data for the use of Onivyde to treat metastatic pancreatic cancer patients in the post-gemcitabine setting.” said Professor Thomas Seufferlein, M.D., University of Ulm, Germany. “This data will allow THE MAZADA PHARMA GUIDE

ARTICLE physicians to better evaluate options for extending overall survival of patients diagnosed with a very difficultto-treat cancer.” The CHMP’s positive opinion will be submitted to the European Commission (EC), which is responsible for granting marketing authorizations for medicines in the European Union (EU). We anticipate a final decision later this year. J. Marc Pipas, M.D., senior medical director at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals Inc. commented: “We applaud the CHMP’s positive opinion on Onivyde as it acknowledges the clinical significance of this therapy for a patient population with few treatment options. We look forward to continuing our work with Shire to expand the global availability of this important therapy to patients facing metastatic pancreatic cancer.” Onivyde is a firstof-its-kind formulation (encapsulation) of irinotecan in a long-circulating liposomal form designed to improve delivery and the length of exposure of irinotecan. Studies have suggested that encapsulation helps to improve delivery of irinotecan to tumors, such as metastatic pancreatic cancer. In the pivotal phase 3 NAPOLI-1 study, nal-IRI demonstrated improved

survival in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer after previous gemcitabine-based therapy. Gemcitabine, both as monotherapy as well as in combination, is commonly used in the first-line treatment of locally advanced and/or metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma, as well as in the adjuvant (treatment after surgery) and neo-adjuvant (treatment before surgery) settings. Shire is responsible for the development and commercialization of Onivyde outside of the United States and Taiwan under an exclusive licensing agreement with Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Merrimack currently markets Onivyde in the United States after having received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval in October 2015 for the treatment of patients with metastatic adenocarcinoma of the pancreas who have progressed following treatment with gemcitabine-based therapy. Approval of Onivyde in Taiwan was also received in October 2015, where PharmaEngine holds the commercialization rights. NAPOLI-1 is the first global, randomized open-label phase 3 trial to show extended overall survival in

metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cancer after gemcitabine-based therapy through treatment with nal-IRI combined with 5-FU and LV. NAPOLI-1 was the largest phase 3 study in this setting to date. Patients were enrolled at 76 sites in 14 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia. The study evaluated nal-IRI (80mg/m2) in combination with 5-FU and LV administered intravenously every two weeks and as a monotherapy (120 mg/m2) administered every three weeks. Each nal-IRI containing arm was compared to a control arm of 5-FU and LV. NAPOLI-1 met the following primary and secondary endpoints by demonstrating that nal-IRI combined with 5-FU and LV significantly improved OS, progression-free survival (PFS) and objective response (OR) compared to 5-FU/LV alone in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. The grade 3 or 4 adverse events that occurred most frequently in the 117 patients assigned nal-IRI plus fluorouracil and folinic acid were neutropenia (32 [27%]), diarrhoea (15 [13%]), vomiting (13 [11%]), and fatigue (16 [14%]).

New polymer coatings for foodcontact surfaces resist microbes pecial new coatings being investigated by researchers are more resistant to bacteria and other microbes than food-contact surfaces used today, according to a report on a recent symposium hosted by the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).IFT logo“Manufacturers already work diligently to keep their facilities clean, but we are creating materials that are even less likely to harbor bad bugs,” said Julie Goddard, an associate professor in the department of food science at Cornell University. “We have designed new polymer coatings that can be applied to food processing surfaces that resist microbial adhesion and can actually inactivate any microbes that do adhere, preventing them from growing and potentially contaminating our food supply,” Goddard said in a news release.The coatings may be commercially available in the next few years and will need to withstand some pretty tough treatment. “It’s a hard life for the equipment used in food production facilities because the coatings have to hold up to acidic and caustic cleaners, temperature extremes and abrasions from scrubbings. It’s a huge challenge to find coatings that will work under these extreme conditions,” Goddard said in the release. One specific coating works to resist bacteria in different ways, she explained.“It has been shown to inactivate 99.999 percent of Listeria monocytogenes, a microbe that is a significant threat to food safety,” Goddard said.Besides the food safety

applications, such coatings can also help reduce the massive amount of food waste that occurs from spoilage. Goddard noted that other areas of food processing plants that might benefit from these coating include door knobs and HVAC vents and drains, which can harbor microorganisms. The coatings might also be used on handling and harvesting equipment for fresh fruits and vegetables. Hugo residents were warned going into the weekend not to drink the

town’s water because some tests showed the presence of THC in the water. Officials say those results were false positives. The warning was lifted on Saturday with a situation update that was posted on the sheriff’s Facebook page.Hugo, a town of 730, is located 110 miles southeast of Denver on the state’s Eastern Plains.Tests kits that reported false positives are being returned to the manufacturer to determine why they were defective.“There never was THC in our water supply, “sheriff’s department Capt. Michael Yowellsaid. “We did get multiple tests showing the possibility of THC, but independent tests taken by different people at different times and places showed no evidence of THC.” While recreational marijuana has been legal in Colorado for more than two years, Hugo has not approved any licensing, which is done at the local level. A team from Alaska’s Division of Public Health traveled to the town of Bethel last week to investigate a cluster of Salmonella illnesses reported there.Louisa Castrodale, a state epidemiologist, told KYUK Public Media the cluster of sick people confirmed with Salmonella infections amount to an unexplained situation that raises public health concerns.“It’s not even the end of July and we had gotten about six cases of confirmed salmonella from the Bethel-YK area. That’s a large number of cases for a short amount of time in a smaller location, so we were really concerned there was a common source for these infections,” Castrodale told KYUK reporter Charles Enoch “(We) could have either a contaminated food product, so a food product that had salmonella

in it, or (people) could have contact with a person that had salmonella.”Three people from the state’s health department arrived Wednesday in the town of about 6,300 people in the south central area of the YukonKuskokwim Delta. They stayed through Friday. Alaska has had a total annual count of confirmed Salmonella cases of between 55 and 83 from 2011-2014, according to government statistics.Officials are encouraging anyone on the Bethel area who has had Salmonella infections symptoms recently to see a doctor. Symptoms include diarrhea, stomach ache, vomiting, fever, headache and dehydration, especially in infants and older people. Symptoms can start showing between six to 72 hours after exposure to salmonella bacteria, and the illness usually lasts four to seven days.

Researchers map 180 distinct areas in cortex; new software detects "fingerprint" Researchers have mapped 180 distinct areas in our brain’s outer mantle, or cortex – more than twice the number previously known. They have also developed software that

automatically detects the “fingerprint” of each of these areas in an individual’s brain scans. Funded by the National Institutes of Health through its Human Connectome Project (HCP), this software correctly mapped the areas by incorporating data from multiple non-invasive brain imaging measures that corroborated each other. “These new insights and tools should help to explain how our cortex evolved and the roles of its specialized areas in health and disease, and could eventually hold promise for unprecedented precision in brain surgery and clinical work-ups,” said Bruce Cuthbert, Ph.D., acting director of NIH’s National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), which co-funded the research as part of the HCP.The new study identified – with a nearly 97 percent detection rate – 97 new cortex areas per hemisphere, in addition to confirming 83 that were previously known.NIMH grantees David Van Essen, Ph.D., (link is external) and Matthew Glasser (link is external), Ph.D., of Washington University in St. Louis, and colleagues at six other researcher centers, report on their discoveries July 20, 2016 in the journal Nature. Earlier studies of cortex organization often used just one measure, such as examining postmortem tissue with a microscope. Uncertain delineation of cortex areas has sometimes led to shaky comparability of brain imaging findings. The situation is analogous to astronomy where ground-based telescopes produced relatively blurry images of the sky before the advent of adaptive optics and space telescopes,” noted Glasser, lead author of the study. The HCP team set out to banish this blurriness by using multiple, precisely aligned, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) modalities to measure cortical architecture, activity, connectivity, and topography in a group of 210 healthy participants. These measures – including cortex thickness, cortex myelin content, task and resting-state functional MRI (fMRI)

– cross-validated each other. The findings were, in turn, confirmed in an additional independent sample of 210 healthy participants. Even though some cortex areas turned out to be atypically located in a small minority of subjects, the dataderived algorithms incorporated into the software were able to successfully map them. While the study included fMRI scans of subjects performing tasks, the researchers determined that resting-state MRI techniques should suffice to map the areas in future studies using the tools they developed. Some areas may turn out to have further subdivisions or be subunits of other areas, in light of new data, noted senior author Van Essen. “The ability to discriminate individual differences in the location, size, and topology of cortical areas from differences in their activity or connectivity should facilitate understanding of how each property is related to behavior and genetic underpinnings,” added Glasser. The automated “areal classifier” and related tools are being shared with the research community via HCP websites (link is external). In addition, the extensively analyzed data underlying each of the published figures can be accessed via an NIHfunded database developed in the Van Essen laboratory (link is external). The HCP is a project of the NIH Blueprint for Neuroscience Research. This collaborative framework includes the NIH Office of the Director and 15 NIH Institutes and Centers that support research on the nervous system. By pooling resources and expertise, Blueprint identifies cross-cutting areas of research, and confronts challenges too large for any single institute or center. The second half of China's methanol industry chain, how to go? n the first half, China's methanol total supply of 25.32 million tons, 3.5 million tons more than last year, about 1.65 million tons of imports increment. Mentioned imports, with the slow recovery of the international methanol market this year, China's methanol imports hit record highs, from 1 to June imported 4.26 million tons of methanol. PHARMA DPCO ORDER S.O.2209(E) - Whereas in line with the directions given in the review order issued vide letter no. 31015/9/2013/PI.I dated 05th May 2016 passed by the Department of Pharmaceuticals in application of review from various pharmaceutical companies against S.O. No. 3127(E) dated 10th December, 2014, ceiling prices of Glucose 5% Injection, Sodium Chloride 0.9% Injection and Glucose 5% + Sodium Chloride 0.9% Injection were fixed by National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (i.e. NPPA) vide notification S.O 1993(E) dated 3rd Jun, 2016 and Corrigendum Order 2062(E) dated 09th Jun, 2016. Whereas the manufacturers have made representations about existing unit volume based pricing system because of which manufacturing of aforesaid formulations in all kind of packaging for some pack sizes has become non remunerative affecting the availability, which may become detrimental to the public interest. Whereas, the NPPA had invited manufacturers claiming entitlement for separate ceiling prices for demonstration as notified by S.O. 1993(E) dated 3rd Jun, 2016 and Corrigendum Order 2062(E) dated 09th Jun, 2016. Whereas based on the representation and feedback from various glass and non glass manufacturers and its own examination, NPPA modified the previous categorisation of different types of packaging as (a) glass (b) non glass and (c) non glass with special features. Whereas NPPA in its a Authority meeting held on 23rd Jun, 2016 decided to re-fix the ceiling price of aforesaid formulations under modified categories i.e. glass , non glass and separate ceiling prices for specific manufacturers of non glass with special features. In exercise of powers, conferred by sub paragraph (3) and (4) of paragraph 11, and paragraph 14 the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013, read with S.O. 1394(E) dated the 30th May, 2013, S.O. 1192(E) dated 22nd March, 2016 issued by the Government of India in the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers and in supersession of the order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers (National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority) No. S.O. 3127(E) dated 10th December, 2014, S.O. 619(E) dated 26th February, 2015 , S.O. 644(E) dated 2nd March, 2016 and S.O 1993(E) dated 3rd Jun, 2016 read with Corrigendum order S.O 2062 dated 9th Jun,,2016 , in so far as it relates to formulation packs of Glass and Non-Glass packaging mentioned in the table herein below, except in respect of things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority, hereby fixes the price as specified in column (5) of the table herein below as ceiling price exclusive of local tax applicable, if any in respect of the scheduled formulations specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said Table with the strength and unit/packaging specified respectively in the corresponding entries in columns (3) and (4), thereof:
