Sheffield’s Working Jobs Fairs are a great place to meet local employers, discover part-time and fulltime job opportunities, receive information, advice and guidance, get support with your CV, and much more. Sheffield City Council’s employment and skills service, Opportunity Sheffield, has collaborated with Jobcentre Plus to bring monthly job fairs across the city. The next fair at Lowedges will bring together local employers all over the city, including Sheffield City Council, NHS, Environment Agency, Avon, Great Bear, South Yorkshire Police and many more. We will be offering all kinds of careers support, from care work to construction, from engineering to digital roles. Members of the Opportunity Sheffield team will also be present to talk through your best route to your new career with advice on apprenticeships, employment support, training courses and more. Opportunity Sheffield offers a number of programmes and is part-funded by the European Social Fund.
