Cornell Offers New Certificate in Veterinary Business and Management

The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medi cine launched a new Certificate in Veterinary Busi ness and Management, providing veterinary stu dents an opportunity to pursue advanced training in business and management disciplines.

The program was created by Jorge Colón, DVM, MBA. The certificate program is designed to give graduates the skills needed to succeed in any veteri nary field.

The certificate program consists of 8 elective courses in 6 focus areas: financial literacy, profes sional development, financial management, orga nizational management, personal development and entrepreneurship.

The creation of this certificate program will help Cornell graduates maximize their future success. MeV
