STEPHANIE LANGFORD

Casting Director

Columbia, South Carolina

After four Summers as a Singing Ice Cream Waiter, Steph is excited to be a part of TMM’s magic still but in a new and unique way as the Casting Director. Steph has a Bachelor of Music Performance in Voice from the University of South Carolina. She started at The Music Man in 2018 as a rising senior in college. Since then, Steph has gone on to sing, act, and voice act in a variety of projects from opera to television to podcasts. Being a small part of the casting process last year, she’s excited to find wonderful new cast mates this year to become part of the iconic and caring family that is the TMM cast.

ANDREW FERRIE

Musical Director

Point Pleasant, New Jersey

Andrew Ferrie is beyond thrilled to serve as the Music Director for this upcoming summer season! He comes from just up the road in Point Pleasant, NJ. Andrew has been working as a performer for The Music Man since his first magical summer in 2018. In 2014 he earned a Bachelors of Science in Music Education, as well as, a Bachelors of Arts in Music Performance with a Concentration in Voice from Lebanon Valley College. Since graduating Andrew has gone on to teach elementary general music, direct 5th grade chorus, teach vocal and acting classes at the Spring Lake Community House, and was named Teacher of the Year. He coaches numerous color guards and maintains an active vocal studio. Andrew music directs, directs, and performs for the Spring Lake Theatre Company. He currently works for American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). in New York, New York. Andrew can’t wait to teach, guide, and welcome this new cast to The Music Man family!

ELIZABETH SCHAEFER

Associate Director

Lyons, Kansas

Elizabeth is so excited for another year of adventure at the Music Man! She is also proud to announce she will be taking on the role of Associate Director as well as performing and, hosting TMM podcast The Best Summer Adventure with Aggie (find it anywhere you find your Podcasts)! Originally from Kansas, Liz loves her time on the Jersey shore and her wonderful Music Man family. In 2022 she graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University with a degree in Theatre and minor in Music. She believes that the Music Man is such an amazing environment to grow as a young performing individual. Therefore, she is looking forward to what the 2023 cast has in store. As always, she would like to give a big thank you to her friends and family for their support in her journey of singing, scooping, and smiling through it all!

Aria is extremely excited to join the incredible cast at the Music Man this summer! Born and raised in New Jersey, she is no stranger to the shore and feels so lucky to be singing and scooping by the beach. She is currently studying musical theatre at SUNY Cortland and will be a junior this fall. Some of her favorite onstage credits include Sandra(Big Fish), Lucy (Bright Star), Nun (Sister Act), Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Kate (Legally Blonde). This summer, Peyton is realizing a dream she didn’t even know she had: she gets to sing while surrounded by ice cream. She is overjoyed for her first season with The Music Man Singing Ice Cream Shoppe!
