2023 Raksha Bandhan History and Importance:

Hindus place a great deal of importance on Raksha Bandhan. One of the myths surrounding this occasion comes from the Mahabharata epic. She made a touching gesture, and Lord Krishna pledged to look out for her always. When the Kauravas attempted to embarrass Draupadi in front of the Hastinapur royal court, he kept his word and prevented her from being publicly humiliated.

In Hindu culture, the rakhi has taken on symbolic significance. It highlights how important sibling relationships are. Married ladies have the chance to attend the ceremony at their parents' house during the festival as well.
