NOTE
The New Year often allows us to reflect on fresh starts - an invigorating part of life - the thrill of the unknown, a clean slate and a chance to change your home or environment. To instigate positive change can be dauntingoften the hardest part is the very first step. In this issue we chat to ROCKCOTE founders Chris and Bob Cameron who weren't afraid of a bold undertaking in their renovation project. Using Natural Materials from the ROCKCOTE range they achieved a home which is now functional, sustainable and most importantly healthy. A fresh start can present in so many different forms - a renovation, new business or improving your own health and well-being. We chat to artist Rachel Castle about the factors that combined to inspire her to set up her own business on p.16. The Percy Plunkett project on p.20 saw interior designer Matt Woods receive industry acclaim for his unique response to a heritage site. On p.30 we chat to Artisan Gorni Cahani about his use of ROCKCOTE Natural Materials and the joy and wellbeing these finishes bring his clients. We hope you enjoy the issue and feel inspired to be the change in your own life. N I N A D O R N A N D T H E R O C KC O T E T E A M

TRADE GORNI CAHANI , ROCKCOTE ARTISAN
For any artisan there’s an acknowledgment of the craft as something much more than a trade - there is an intimate relationship between them, the products and the tools used to create unique and beautiful finishes. We chat to ROCKCOTE Artisan Gorni Cahani about his appreciation for Natural Materials and the joy and wellbeing these finishes bring his clients.
