Garden Club Holds 38th Annual Horticultural Show

The Vegreville Garden Club held their 38th annual Horticultural Show on August 8, 9 and 10 in conjunction with the Agricultural Fair. Despite the cold, wet weather, we had a good number of top-quality entries. The exhibits were beautifully displayed. The show saw a total of 343 entries in various categories. Of these, 305 were in the adult section and 38 were in the junior section.

This year the grand Aggregate winners are: Garden Club member Dianna Bibkewich Non-Garden Club member Colleen Albert Junior Section Ashley Zwarich The best in show award, donated by Orest and Fran Lazarowich, went to Pauline Diduck for her artistic display of vegetables. The Vegreville Garden Club wishes it’s congratulations to all the winners for their beautiful exhibits and would like to extend its thanks to all the people involved in making our show a huge success, from exhibitors to volunteers.
