With perfect diction and time, students from Pre-K and Kindergarten and Grades One to Three each performed a Christmas Concert at St. Martin’s Catholic School on December 19.
The younger students sang secular pieces with clear voices and recited a poem called, The Chubby Little Snowman which were followed by religious themed songs with one being, Take a Walk to Christmas. They expressed so much joy in each of these performances.
The older group of students’ performances was after this.
These students did a holiday skit. Then they went on to act out a Christmas pageant about the nativity of Jesus. After this, they sang a medley of carols. There were no visible errors in any of these pieces.
With their cheerful voices, the students demonstrated the spirit of Christmas.
At the end of each of these concerts, the audience cheered, whistled and issued a standing ovation.
