Jim Storch said the community has been awesome in its support to date and there will be another opportunity to donate during the village-wide garage sale at the gazebo on Main Street on June 1. Val Mytz, board member with McQueen Memorial United Church, said they are in the beginning stages of planning a fundraising barbecue and currently looking for volunteers and donations to assist with the event.
