Second Annual Fill a Cruiser

Santa with his elves were filled with the holiday spirit as they gathered at the Second Annual Fill a Cruiser.

This project is an initiative by the Town of Vegreville Municipal Enforcement Services Department, Vegreville RCMP, and AB Fish and Wildlife for the Vegreville Christmas Bureau.

The event was held from November 15 to 20 at Walmart, Peavey Mart, Canadian Tire and the Vegreville Stationary Parade at Vegreville Agricultural Grounds.

Ken Podoborozny, Community Peace Officer with the Town of Vegreville, organized this project. He said donations are a bit low this year and they still need donations of toys, non-perishable food, and monetary donations.

Ann Waters, a representative with the Vegreville Christmas Bureau, said the Fill a Cruiser project is completed for this year. The cut-off date for Christmas donations is December 10, but VCB will accept monetary donations any time.
