About Nicole: Nicole Dean is the Mostly-Sane Marketer. (Ask anyone who knows her and they’ll say that the “mostly” part is up for debate!) Nicole loves to help online business owners to earn more money AND have more fun! She is an expert in Affiliate Marketing, Affiliate Management, “Lazy Marketing” for passive profits, Outsourcing Effectively, and Marketing with Content. But, she’s got a secret. She uses a LOT of shortcuts. Nicole juggles a lot of things, but she does it all without owning a Blackberry or giving out her cell phone number. The reason she works from home is to have the freedom when and where she wishes to work. She enjoys work very much, but lives to spend time with her much-adored husband, her two silly children – and also her two slightly neurotic puppies, Eddy (short for Edison) & Einstein.
Resources from Nicole: Learn the secret shortcut that many niche marketers use to stop working so darned hard Quality PLR Content Find out how Nicole has gotten a waiting list of people who want her to steal their web traffic: Guest Blogging on Steroids Jimmy D. Brown called her Wonder Woman when she was his Affiliate Manager. Why? She got more done in a day than he thought she'd accomplish in a month. How this Report Came into Being... One of the questions that I get asked frequently is “Why Clickbank?” Sometimes I'm asked by other successful marketers and other times I'm asked by my coaching students when I tell them that Clickbank fits their lifestyle plans better than other options would. And, then I tell them this story of when I first started working for Jimmy D. Brown. When I first started working with Jimmy, I was really surprised when he told me that he used Clickbank as his payment processor for most of his products. My previous mentors had taught me to use a “meatier” shopping cart and that Clickbank ended up to be quite expensive after you started to sell in large volume. Well, of course, I wanted to show him how knowledgeable I was so I told him how much better we could do if we switched to a heartier shopping cart. That conversation didn’t go as I’d planned, but I did learn a lesson that stuck with me to this day, three years later. I can’t find the original emails to share the actual conversation, but it went something like this… Me: You could do all these great things if we switched to a full-blown shopping cart… blah blah blah (me going on trying to make my point and look smart…) Him: Why on earth would I do that? They handle everything for me including credit card processing and tax paperwork for affiliates. It frees me up to play more tennis and spend more time with my family. I stopped as if the world just turned upside down on me. Inside my head I could hear – “But… but… but… the other cart will do all these other things… but… OH! I get it.” That lesson has stuck with me since that day. Every single decision that I make in my business now has to pass the “Does this choice fit with my lifestyle goals?” test. It keeps me in line with my long term goals. But, before you can ask yourself that question, you really need to make sure that you know what success means to you. You’ve got to have goals if you plan to hit them, right? What is success to you? Once you know that question, it'll help you to make all of the decisions in your business. But, I digress. Let's get back on topic.

So, why Clickbank? Clickbank.com has paid out nearly $2 Billion to online business owners just like you in the last 10 years – and that number is growing fast. Yet, for a lot of marketers, Clickbank has a bad rap. I'd like to spend the next 2 minutes showing you why you absolutely should sell your ebook on Clickbank. Who does this apply to? •
You! If you're currently selling your product with a simple paypal button. Consider switching to Clickbank.
•
You! If you have a shopping cart (like 1ShoppingCart.com) that you're using to sell your products. Consider also setting up a separate page or URL where you sell your product on Clickbank.
Here's why... Diversification of your Payments. You may not be aware of this, but PayPal.com has been known to “freeze” accounts while looking into them after they've been flagged by one of their employees. While Paypal.com is a trusted company, they do have to watch out for their own interests. So, if this happens to you, your account will not be accessible during that time. What exactly does that mean? You can't withdraw money. You can't pay affiliates. You can't even process refunds. You're stuck. I don't know about you, but I have bills to pay – which is why I recommend that you also sell products via a secondary payment method like Clickbank. They pay via direct deposit into your Checking account every 2 weeks, like clockwork. If, heaven forbid, your account gets flagged by Paypal – you'll be able to pay your mortgage while getting it cleared. Less Book-Keeping. With Clickbank, you get paid weekly or when you reach a certain dollar amount that you've set. That means that you can pay less in accounting fees – because you'll have a maximum of FOUR transactions per month, assuming you're getting paid weekly. Compare that to using a paypal button or shopping cart – where every single transaction has to be entered by your bookkeeper – and you can see the advantage.

100,000 + Sales Force. Yes, Clickbank has the eye of over 100,000 registered affiliate niche marketers in 145 countries. Many of these affiliate search the Clickbank marketplace first when looking for products to promote. If you're not listed there, they can't find you.
Hands Off Affiliate Management. If you're using your own shopping cart like 1ShoppingCart.com then you have to manage your affiliates or hire someone to do so. While this is definitely a profitable thing to do, some tasks can be a nuisance, like collecting W-9 forms (if you're in the United States) for taxes. If you sell through Clickbank, that's not an issue. They handle it for you.

Clickbank's HopAds Program. You may be familiar with Google Adsense, but, did you know that Clickbank also has an advertising program? As a vendor, you can create Ads that automatically show on affiliate websites – based upon keywords. So, if your ebook is about “Saving Money on Groceries” and someone with a frugal or homemaking site puts the HopAd on their site with keywords “grocery” or “save money” - your ad may display in rotation with the other ads – as long as that ad is live on their site.
Affiliate Payment Safety Cushion. If you're selling your products through your own shopping cart, then every month, you have to make sure to keep a “cushion” in your paypal account so that you have enough money to pay them. That's not an issue with Clickbank. You ONLY receive your profits after affiliates have been paid. And, Clickbank handles paying them for you. You're totally out of the loop. There you have it. Six reasons why you should put your ebook on Clickbank for sale. If you're considering selling your products on Clickbank, be sure to check out my "15 Quick & Easy Steps to Getting your Ebook on Clickbank". It'll save you time (and money). Warmly, Nicole Dean
