Editor's Note
Over the past two years photography has taken over my life, literally. It's all I think about, it's all I work towards. I've always loved fashion and magazines and the whole atmosphere that surrounds that space. Image making has always been something I have been interested in, this coupled with my love for fashion led to me deciding to create this publication. The aim for The Odd Fray Journal is to create a visually stimulating body of work but also discuss topics that I find interesting, it's a gateway into the things I think about, a journal for public consumption.
In this is issue I sit down with Bulangizi to discuss her pursing a law career, being a blogger and whether it is really possible for a corporate career and a creative one to coexist. I also have a chat with Lula about being an independent brand owner, what drives her creativity and whether she thinks there will come a time when women no longer have gender as a hurdle. I share with you my music picks in a beautifully female led playlist and a photo set that packs a pink punch.
