





















TIMOTHY VOREIS
WINAMAC, IN - Timothy “Tim” Voreis, 59, died Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at his home. He was born January 15, 1966 in Knox, Indiana to Kenneth L. and Gaynelle (Collins) Voreis. On December 28, 1985, in South Bend, Indiana, he married Mary E. Heying.
Tim was a graduate of John Adams High School in South Bend. He was a proud truck driver with many safety awards and had a hazmat and a doubles and triples endorsement. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing and camping and he loved time spent with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, three sons: Timothy J. Voreis of South Bend, Kenneth C. (Kali) Voreis of Plymouth, Indiana and Samuel H. (Mandy) Voreis of North Liberty, Indiana, two daughters: Aubrey P. Voreis of Holland, Michigan and Kathryn A. (Randy Sheaks) Voreis of Bremen, Indiana, seven grandchildren, his parents, Kenneth L. and Gaynelle Voreis of Culver, Indiana, one sister, Robin (Scott) Sommers of Culver and one brother, Glenn (Brigid) Voreis of Vermilion, Ohio.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Private burial was in the Burr Oak Cemetery in Burr Oak, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Winamac Volunteer Fire Department or Haven Hospice. Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
ANNIE CAROL MANNS
NORTH JUDSON, IN - Annie Carol Manns, 59, died Saturday, February 15, 2025. She was born July 7, 1965, in Winamac, Indiana.
Annie loved her family very much and her strength and nurturing spirit was an inspiration to all.
She is survived by her life partner, Edward Hurt, her children: Justin Sanchez, Sara Norris and Waylon Hurt, four grandchildren, her father, Herald Manns and two sisters: Hazel Manns and Versie Ford. She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Caroline Manns. and grandparents: Eldridge and Rosie Rowe. Services were held Friday, February 21, at the True Vine Church. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery in North Judson.

WILLIAM ELMER HAHN
PARK FOREST, IL - William Elmer Hahn, 78, died Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Franciscan Health-Olympia Fields in Olympia Fields, Illinois. He was born October 14, 1946, in Chicago Heights, Illinois to the late Elmer Arnold and Marie Catherine (Gunther) Hahn.
“Billy” was well loved by his family and was the epitome of grace. He was innocent and sweet with a touch of his dad’s sense of humor. He resided many years at the Elizabeth Ludeman Center in Park Forest and was well loved by the staff (his extended family).
He is survived by one sister, Judith C. “Judy” hahn of Lisle, Illinois. He was preceded in death by two brothers: James O. “Jim” and Thomas “Tom” Hahn. Private graveside services and burial will be held at Culver Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Felicichia officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church.

DARRELL L. BOEHNING
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - FORMERLY
OF FRANCESVILLE, IN - Darrell
L. Boehning, 66, died at 10:45am, Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Majestic Care in Lafayette, Indiana, where he had been in recovery since being injured in a work-related incident in August, 2024. He was born August 21, 1958 to Stanley G. and Maxine J. Boehning.
Darrell was a 1976 graduate of West Central High School and completed diesel mechanic courses at Lincoln Tech in Indianapolis. He had a 48 year long career at UPS in Indianapolis and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union Local #135. He was captivated by machines that pushed the limits of speed, adventure and innovation.
Darrell held a private pilot license and was a certified scuba diver. He enjoyed flying, collecting RC planes, drones and anything aviation related. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by two children: Alison J. (Andrew) Marquis of Lafayette and Danny J. (Laura) Boehning of Plantsville, Connecticut, six grandchildren, his mother, Maxine J. Boehning of Francesville and one sister, Kimberly A. Davidson of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley, one brother, Brian A. Boehning and his former wife, Lori A. Huber-Boehning.
Funeral services will be held at 11am
EST on Friday, February 28 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, with Chad French officiating. Burial will be in the Roseland Cemetery in Francesville. Visitation from 4-8pm EST on Thursday, February 27 the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Air Charity Network.

MARY BETH HOWAT
FRANCESVILLE, IN - Mary Beth
Howat, 83, died Friday, February 21, 2025 at Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville, Indiana. She was born December 24, 1941in Monon, Indiana to the late Farrell and Elizabeth (Ward) Bailey. On May 26, 1961, in Medaryville, Indiana, she married William Joseph Howat. He died December 21, 2010.
Mary Beth was retired from West Central Schools where she had worked as the Corporation Treasurer for many years. She was an avid Purdue men’s basketball fan. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by one son, Edward (Kim) Howat of Lafayette, Indiana, five grandsons, nine great grandchildren and two brothers: Farrell Douglas Bailey of Francesville and John (Sandra) Bailey of Warrenton, Virginia. She was preceded in death by one son, James Howat. Graveside services were held Monday, February 24 in the Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, with Pastor Dennis Gutwein officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Haven Retirement Home. Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville.
LORRAINE FRANCIS MACEVICE
KNOX, IN - Lorraine Francis Macevice, 94, died Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She was born September 18, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Chester and Irene Barzydlo.
Lorraine had been a very active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society in Knox.
She is survived by one son, Michael J. (Karen) Olszewski of Plymouth, Indiana, three grandchildren, one half brother, Chuck “Chet” (Sherri) Barzydlo of Hamlet, Indiana and one half sister, Donna Jean Atchison of Bedford, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Macevice and siblings: Bernadine Olszewski, Jerome Barzydlo Sr. and George Barzydlo Sr. Services were held Saturday, February 22 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Burial was in the Holy
Cross Cemetery in Hamlet, Indiana.

WESLEY WASZCZYK
WINAMAC, IN - Wesley Waszczyk, 74, died Monday, February 17, 2025 at his home. He was born December 22, 1950 in Krakow, Poland to the late Jozef and Antonina Waszczyk. On February 15, 1975, in Chicago, he married Theresa Gurga.
Wesley served in the Polish Army for several years before coming to the US. He loved to fish, play soccer and hockey and he was a big Chicago Blackhawks fan. He also loved cold beer. He will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa, one son, Christopher (Amy) Waszczyk of Shorewood, Illinois, one granddaughter and one sister, Krystyna Martynowska of Poland.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

CONNIE SUE SNYDER
KNOX, IN - Connie Sue Snyder, 56, died Friday, Februrary 21, 2025 in Knox, Indiana. She was born February 13, 1969 in Winamac, Indiana to Dennis Russell and Linda Sue (Manns) Huggins.
Connie had big dreams and great expectations in life. She love animals and spending time with her family. She is survived by one son, Derrick Little of Knox, two grandchildren, her parents: Linda Sue Huggins of Knox and Dennis Russell of North Judson, Indiana, one brother, Billy Russell of Knox and two sisters: Charlotte Allen of Claypool, Indiana and Nichole Messer of North Judson. She was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Hamilton and step father, Leonard Huggins.
A memorial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

PATRICIA L. CLAPP
MEDARYVILLE, IN - Patricia L. “Pat” Clapp, 77, died Friday, February 21, 2025. She was born December 30, 1947, in Rensselaer, Indiana to the late Roy L. and Charlene (Salyer) Hall. On January 6, 1978 in San Pierre, Indiana she married Steven Clapp.
Pat was a 1967 graduate of Medaryville High School. She was a devoted homemaker, avid gardener and talented cook/baker. She had worked as a custodian for West Central schools and was a dedicated West Central sports fan. She enjoyed canning, tending her flowers and was well known for her incredible annual Christmas light display.
She is survived by her husband, Steven, two sons: Gary (Yvette Weiland) Hendershot of Geneva, Indiana and Doug Clapp of Medaryville, one daughter, Karlene Clapp of Twisp, Washington, two granddaughters and one sister, Sherry Paulsen of Lake Bruce, Indiana.
Visitation from 11am-2pm EST on Saturday, March 1, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel. Services will be held at 2pm EST . Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery in Medaryville. Memorial contributions may be made to West Central Athletic Boosters.
