Earlier this year, the Australian Regulator for Medicine (The Therapeutic Goods Administration or TGA) decided to recall a key ingredient used in many cough mixtures. Pholcodine has been used to treat non-productive (dry) cough & is commonly used in cough syrups & lozenge products.
