Jeff Guaracino, Philadelphia native and President and CEO of VISIT PHILADELPHIA®, holds his dream job: proudly promoting his hometown to visitors.

As the former President and CEO of Wawa Welcome America, Guaracino helped usher the return of The Philly POPS to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway during the nation’s birthday celebration in Philadelphia. He also served VISIT PHILADELPHIA’s communications team for more than a decade, developing many of the organization’s groundbreaking marketing campaigns, including Philly’s More Fun When You Sleep Over®, With Love, Philadelphia XOXO®, and Philadelphia – Get Your History Straight And Your Nightlife Gay®.

Guaracino, a resident of Society Hill, is a globally recognized author and wrote the travel industry’s first two books solely dedicated to LGBTQ tourism.
