A micro wedding is defined as a small and intimate wedding involving a much smaller invite list of close family and a few friends. This type of wedding can often be confused with an elopement, but elopements typically only involve the couple getting married and the officiant. Micro weddings usually include a guest list between 20 and 50 people. Think of it as a step up from an elopement and not quite a traditional wedding.
