Ka’Dia Dhatnubia ’s fiction has appeared in Moria and nonfiction in Blue Marble Review. Previously, Ka’Dia served as copy editor and associate editor at The Manor, SCAD’s fashion site. Ka’Dia will complete a B.F.A. in writing in 2021. (“The Art of Snakes and Disregarding Fear,” page 30)

Julia Gralki has been writing fiction since she knew how to use a pen, but only recently discovered her passion for nonfiction writing. Her favorite thing to write articles about is running, which you can find on her blog www.runflysmile.eu. (“The Positive Side Effects of a Pandemic,” page 6)

Kai Lun Dingcong tells stories about trauma and identity. They earned first place in the SCAD Artists’ Book Competition in 2019 for their work “Embody,” which explores gender, perceptions and the intimacy of consent.

Ben Elhav’s poetry has appeared in the Toronto Public Library’s Arts and Literature Review, Young Voices. He was recently awarded a grant from Story Summit USA for his experimental short film screenplay “No Cello.”

TJ Laggis is a writer, investigative journalist and amateur naturalist. His editorial work draws inspiration from his fascination with history, nature and the human condition. Laggis’s writing has been featured in Savannah Magazine, Uncommon Living and District in Bloom. Currently, he is busy crafting a children’s book series with his longtime girlfriend and fellow artist Kaitlyn Weiner.

Maggie Maize graduated from SCAD in 2020 with a B.F.A. in writing. She infuses childlike wonder into everything she makes. Her writing has appeared in Funny Pearls, Harness Magazine, Humana Obscura and other places.

Niina Amanuma is a filmmaker who concentrates on cinematography with a passion for photography. She is a film and television student and expects to graduate in May 2021. (“The Positive Side Effects of a Pandemic,” page 6)

Patrick Cox is a Denver and Savannah photographer. His photographs have been featured in HypeBae and Dazed. When not in the studio, he competes on SCAD’s cycling team in both road and mountain biking. Patrick expects to graduate with a B.F.A. in photography with a concentration in commercial photography in May 2022.

Marygrace Gladden is a Bostonbased photographer. Her work is about memories of home. She makes photographs of personal spaces so that, reflecting on them later, she sees the memories, not the physical location. Marygrace will graduate from SCAD with a B.F.A. in photography this June.
