Omega Seamaster – Latest Releases in 2016 When someone utters the name ‘Omega’ in a crowded place, all the heads turns around...yes! This is what this “brand” is all about. Well-known for crafting stunning luxurious timepieces, the brand Omega has a significant contribution towards numerous social and humanitarian projects with international organisations like GoodPlanet Foundation, Orbis International, NASA and so on. Silver-screen stalwarts like Nicole Kidman, George Clooney, Daniel Craig flaunted the timepieces from Omega in various ceremonies like Cannes, Golden Globe and so on. 2016 has been a busy year for Omega. As the ‘Official Timekeeper’ of Rio Olympics 2016, Omega was busy in measuring every split second of the greatest event of the Earth. As a part of the legacy, they have released two Seamaster Rio Special Edition watches – 522.30.41.20.01.001 – This timepiece is a colourful version of the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M. The model not only celebrates the brand’s role as the ‘Official Timekeeper’ but also represents the brand’s core DNA in watch making.

This watch is decked on a black dial with transferred wave pattern, inspired from the sidewalks of the Copacabana Sea Beach. The numerals on the bezel are filled with red, blue, yellow and green lacquer all representing the colours of Olympic rings. On the reverse of this 41 mm casing, a ‘Rio Olympic 2016’ logo has been engraved with a Limited Edition number. Like all other Omega Seamaster, a sophisticated automatic movement (Co-Axial Calibre 2500) also powers this watch.


522.12.43.50.04.001 – This is another colourful limited edition timepiece from the house of Omega. This eye-catching timepiece is presented on a blue leather strap with black, yellow, green and red stitching.

The screw-in case back is stamped with a Rio 2016 logo. A Calibre 3113 movement powers this Seamaster Bullhead device. 215.92.46.22.01.001 – This ‘Deep Black’ watch is another stunning addition to the Omega’s Seamaster family. Astonishingly designed with black strap, bezel and dial, the deep black series is an immediate super-hit in the luxury watch market. The remarkable 45.5 mm model is a combination of a GMT model and a diving watch. These ‘Deep Black’ series will be available for sale at stores on and from October 2016.


Seamaster AquaTerra ‘Pyeongchang 2018’ Limited Edition – With 2 years until Winter Olympic reaches South Korea, Omega is celebrating the countdown with an exclusive and stunning timepiece with an exclusive edition of Omega Seamaster AquaTerra.

The transparent back cover of the casing includes the Official logo of the “Olympic Games PyeongChang 2018”. The teak patterned dial is there and a Co-Axial 8500 movement powers the device. On the side of the casing, the ‘Limited Edition Number’ has been engraved. With all of these latest releases, Omega is not only adding a signature to the brand’s core value, but also they are enriching their wide array of exquisite watches to allure connoisseurs all over the world.
