Trenton Knight, Jr. entered this world on August 4, 2005, to his parents, Latoya Richey and Trenton Knight, Sr. Born with blue eyes and blonde hair, we knew he was a special child.

Trenton’s education began in Pre-K at Britton Elementary and later had an opportunity to learn at the same school as both his parents; Rose Witcher (mom) and Douglas High School (dad).

Throughout his childhood Trenton, Jr. was a loving, courageous and amazing child whose smile brightened any room that he entered. At the ripe young of 9, he asked his mom if he could devote his life to Jesus and be baptized, so ‘he can be a Godly man and protect his family.’ Raising her son, his mother was sure to honor his request and had him baptized at People’s Church where he attended regularly as a young boy. Trenton, Jr. enjoyed his time at People’s Church so much, all he wanted to ever do was ‘soak up the word’ and invite as many people as he could, so they could share his same experiences. His mother knew at a young age Trenton, Jr. was anointed when he would share about his visions of seeing his Uncle Tray, Tremain, Tyron, Uncle Jason and his great-grandmother. Those moments were special and sentimental, because each person are not living and Trenton, Jr. didn’t have a chance to meet the people he always said he had visions of.

As he grew into a relentless young man and wanted more out of life; Trenton, Jr. became a mentee of Alpha Boys Institute where he had an opportunity to be mentored by a caring group of men.

Later, finding a love for sports; his passion for the game was performed in soccer, basketball, baseball and football, all of which he displayed his leadership and team player abilities. He loved listening to music, hanging with friends and cousins of whom he was considered to be a big brother to.

Trenton, Jr. made sure to keep a smile on the faces and hearts of his mother and baby sister, Valerie, by always pestering and nagging them each chance that he had. Always having the desire to take care of his mother and baby sister, Trenton, Jr. left behind his love for sports, so that he could work with his Uncle Marcus at Grant’s Tree Trimming Services and later working full time at Burger King all while advancing his education at Mustang High School.

During his time in high school, Trenton, Jr. was happy when he met his girlfriend, Jae’ana Jones. He expressed how he enjoyed spending time with her and how fond he was of her mother. With his future in mind and a strong desire to take care of his family; Trenton, Jr. had made a promise to sign up for the ROTC, so he could later join the military and do better in life. He was expected to graduate May 2024, but God decided that his job in this temporal world was done.

Trenton, Jr. is proceeded in death by his great-grand parents, grand-parents, uncles, aunts and cousins.

With the many titles his name held here on earth; Child of God, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, God son and friend; Trenton, Jr. leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother Latoya Richey, father Trenton Knight, Sr. ; brothers, Caleb Richey, Marquez Watts, Dominic Knight, and Donovan Knight; sisters, Valerie Knight-Richey, Asia Knight, Trenedy Knight and Kenedy Knight; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of many other loved ones and friends.
