Dennis Lee Hardwell Jr. was born on July 11, 1991 to Dennis and Towanda Hardwell in Wichita Kansas. He was the second born of nine siblings. He attended Mueller Elementary and Coleman Middle School and received his Diploma from Heights High School in 2010. After which Dennis join the US Army where he served as a combat officer for six years. On March 31, 2012, he married Brittine’y Franklin, and to this union they were blessed with two children, firstborn son Macai Lee and daughter Meah Laneice Hardwell. Dennis was later blessed with his second son Asahd Jaxxon and daughter Maliyah Elise Hardwell. His children were the Joy of his life. Dennis displayed to his children what it feels like to be truly loved by a father. After his time in the military, Dennis developed his dreams to become an entrepreneur and be his own BOSS. This desire remained with one common goal; to be able to serve the people of God! In 2013 he founded John 316 Transportation that provides a ride to medical appointments in and out of state. Years later he partnered in the founding of Safe House in 2018. This business served as a testament to his love and devotion he had to ministry; serving challenged youth girls by providing a “Safe” place for them to live. Finally in 2022 he launched his own clothing line, Black Lion Apparel. Both of these businesses are still operating and thriving today. What a legacy! Although Dennis loved being an entrepreneur, his calling and destiny was in MINISTRY! Dennis answered YES to the call of the Lord and in 2012 he was birthed into the ministry under the leadership of his mother, Apostle Towanda Stallings. He was ordained as Co-Pastor to assist in leading the International House of Favor Ministries in Wichita, Kansas. Later that year the Lord gave Pastor Hardwell a greater vision to plant Believers Empowerment Temple with his wife Brittine’y Hardwell, in Wichita, Kansas at the young age of 20 years old.
The work continued to progress when he assisted with planting Kingdom Deliverance Empowerment Temple under the leadership of Pastor Sherry Porter. After a few years in Wichita Pastor Hardwell decided to reside in Oklahoma. Although he moved, like one of his favorite song says, He had another YES LORD in his soul. He planted Mighty Works Church in Edmond Oklahoma before relocating to Oklahoma City he changed the church name to Oasis The Place of Refreshing where he Pastored until his demise. He grew this startup church to a thriving ministry full of people who served this ministry with love and devotion to accomplish what God sent Apostle Hardwell there to do! He was later affirmed as an Apostle of the Lord by Dr. Climit Neely of Nassau Bahamas in September of 2018. Apostle Hardwell also served as the Apostolic Council Lead Chair of The Nation Global Ministries in which he was given oversight of the governance and administration of the churches connected. He served The Nation Global Ministries beside the Founder Apostle Stokes. Although church ministry played a significant role in Apostle Hardwell’s life, the most important titles he held was Father & Son. His most important ministry was family (which he wasn’t afraid to exclaim), and he closely followed the scripture of honoring his Mother and Father. If you ever met Dennis you knew he was full of ENERGY. As a young boy he was a very accomplished wrestler and wrestled for many years with the Hard Knox wrestling club. In his early years it was clear to see that Dennis was an excellent Delegator, always able to instruct people on what to do, to accomplish his ultimate goal of getting it DONE FOR HIMSELF! He was a direct man who knew what he wanted. He loved hard and when he decided he liked you, it was friendship for life. Dennis was fashionable individual, whenever he would be seen by people he had to be top notch, especially his hair. He will truly be missed by those that were blessed to encounter him in his 30 years on this earth.
