Bishop Malcolm W. Coby PH.D, has committed his life to being a Spiritual Leader, a Christian Educator, and as a role model to many. Throughout his life he has exemplified excellence and is a catalyst for positive change. This is evident through his dedication as the Pastor of Victory Temple Church of God in Christ, World Ministry Center, Inc., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and his profound position as the Jurisdictional Bishop for the Oklahoma Southeast Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. A native of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Bishop Coby was born on September 24, 1946. He is a proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Bishop Coby has always been a dedicated and loving husband. The display of his commitment to Holy Matrimony, began with his first wife Missionary Annie B. Coby. She walked by his side, and fully supported him in the foundational years of becoming a husband, father, pastor, and educational professional, until the Lord called her home into eternal rest. After her demise, the Lord saw fit to favor Bishop Coby with another opportunity to be a husband, and joined him in holy matrimony to Missionary Reva G. Coby. Missionary Coby is a Certified Case Manager for a Community Action Program in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and is also the founder of the Women in Crisis Ministry (R. G. Coby Foundation). Missionary Coby is the fragrance of the Coby and extended church families, and stands proudly by and further supports him as a great-grandfather, and as he serves as a local Pastor, Jurisdictional Prelate, and now General Board Member. Bishop Coby in his quest for excellence graduated from Booker T. Washington High School (Tulsa, Ok) in 1964. He continued his education by receiving a B.S. in Education (1968), and a Master of Education
(1970) from the University of Central Oklahoma in Special Education (Mental Retardation and Learning Disabilities). He also received a Ph.D. degree in Education from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma (Emotional Disturbance major) in 1976. Bishop Coby works diligently as a dedicated professional. He is an Independent Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker with the John C. Maxwell Group (www.johncmaxwellgroup.com/ malcolmcoby), and is also the CEO/President of M. W. Coby Consulting, LLC, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His career experiences also include his dedication as an Instructor -Southwestern Oklahoma State University, 1971-74; Assistant Professor University of Sciences and Arts of Oklahoma in 1974-76 and Professor of Education -University of Central Oklahoma, in 1976 - 1997. Bishop Coby is a profound and well respected author. His Publications are: Until Morning Comes, Handbook for Church Organization, Administration and Ministry (Victory Publications),The Prayer Ministry of the Saints, Saints in the Wilderness; Bylaws and Job Descriptions for the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction (Amazon) along with many other workbooks and teaching materials. His vast International Church Experiences includes: Chairman of the Board of Directors for All Saints Bible College; Chair of the Jurisdictional Standards and Extensions Committee, of the General Assembly v Community: Member of the Board of Directors for One Church, One Child Inc., Adoptive Child Service Organization, and his Election to General Board of the Executive Branch of the Church Of God in Christ, Inc. by the General Assembly of the COGIC, March 2021.
