Final Viewing
Mr. Seth Nii Djan Dodoo was born on December 29th, 1954 in Accra, Ghana to the late David and Rosemary Dodoo. Seth attended Majosda Preparatory School where he excelled in Mathematics and the Sciences. From there he attended Wesley Grammar School for a year and later transferred to Holy Trinity Secondary School to complete his secondary education. His recognition and achievement in academics did not convey the entire story of who he was as an individual. Seth was talented in many areas of his life. As a young man, he had an eye for fashion. This may be due to the numerous pieces of clothing we bought for him in his youth. He loved to dress to impress at a youthful age while having a niche for shoes. This led to his first business in fashion retail while back home. With those shoes, Seth was an exceptional dancer even to the extent of tap dancing. He enjoyed entertaining. He exemplified a breath of fresh air whenever he was around friends and family. Seth had a distinguished laugh; and his smile was so infectious! He would light up an entire room by his presence. He was loved and admired by everyone. Seth was adventurous from birth, always setting his eyes on traveling and exploring. In 1993, Seth moved to the United States where he reunited with his family. He was a phenomenal husband, father, brother, uncle and a man of Faith. He is survived by his five-year-old daughter Roberta Naa Amoah Dodoo who he loved so dearly. Daddy may be gone but his love and protection shall remain. Seth worked for the W.W Steel company in Oklahoma for five years and later joined Southwest Electric Company as an Inventory Management Specialist. He enjoyed working and made friends along the way. Due to health reasons, he retired from Southwest Electric Company. He continued to live his life the best way he could, spending most of his time with loved ones. He loved his daughter, nieces and nephews. Everyone loved Nii Djan. He was a very generous man, always helping family and friends. Mr. Seth Nii Djan Dodoo was 67, when he passed away on June 1, 2022, at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Although he is no longer with us, his memory will forever remain with us. We take solace in knowing you are no longer in pain but resting in the arms of your creator. Seth has departed from this earth but will forever remain in our hearts. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace until we all meet again.

Thy way, not mine, O Lord Thy way, not mine, O Lord, However dark it be; Lead me by Thine own hand, Choose out the Path for me. Smooth let it be, or rough, It will be still the best; Winding or straight it leads Right onward to Thy rest. I dare not choose my lot; I would not if I might: Choose Thou for me, my God, So shall I walk aright. Take Thou my cup, and it With joy or sorrow fill, As best to Thee may seem; Choose Thou my good and ill. Choose Thou for me my friends, My sickness or my health. Choose Thou my cares for me, My poverty or wealth. Not mine, not mine the choice, In things both great and small; Be Thou my guide, my strength, My wisdom and my all.
Blessed Assurance Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine; Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood. This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long. This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long. Perfect submission, perfect delight, Visions of rapture now burst on my sight; Angels descending, bring from above Echoes of mercy, whispers of love. Perfect submission, all is at rest, I in my Savior am happy and blest; Watching and waiting, looking above, Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.
Great Is Thy Faithfulness “Great is Thy faithfulness,” O God my Father, There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be. “Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!” Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided— “Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me! Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above, Join with all nature in manifold witness To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love. Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide; Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
Graveside PRAYER Pastor Wisdom Tokoli Hymn 5 Now the Laborer’s Task is Over Hymn 6 Abide with Me BURIAL Rev. Henry Johnson DISMISAL PRAYER Rev. Richmond Nettey
Now The Laborer’s Task Is Over Now the laborer's task is o'er; Now the battle day is past; Now upon the farther shore Lands the voyager at last.
Abide With me! Fast Falls the Eventide Abide with me! fast falls the eventide; The darkness deepens; Lord, with me abide! When other helpers fail and comforts flee, Help of the helpless, oh, abide with me.
Refrain: Father, in thy gracious keeping, Leave we now thy servant sleeping. A-men.
Swift to its close ebbs out life’s little day; Earth’s joys grow dim, its glories pass away; Change and decay in all around I see; O Thou who changest not, abide with me.
There the tears of earth are dried, There its hidden things are clear, There the work of life is tried By a juster judge than here. [Refrain]
Come not in terrors, as the King of kings; But kind and good, with healing in Thy wings: Tears for all woes, a heart for every plea; Come, Friend of sinners, thus abide with me.
There the penitents, that turn To the cross their dying eyes, All the love of Jesus learn At his feet in Paradise. [Refrain]
I need Thy presence every passing hour: What but Thy grace can foil the tempter’s power? Who like Thyself my guide and stay can be? Through cloud and sunshine, oh, abide with me.
4 'Earth to earth, and dust to dust,' Calmly now the words we say; Leaving him to sleep, in trust, Till the resurrection-day. [Refrain]
I fear no foe, with Thee at hand to bless: Ills have no weight, and tears no bitterness: Where is death’s sting? where, grave, thy victory? I triumph still, if Thou abide with me.
