Norvell Taylor was born June 10, 1952, to Fred and Juanita (Pete) Taylor in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Norvell, attended Okmulgee Public Schools in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was well known in Okmulgee as one of Fred Taylor's boys. He was kind and showed love to whoever he met. His smile would light up a room and he could capture anyone's attention with funny stories he would tell. Norvell loved cooking at the Taylor Cafe, where everyone would brag on how good of a cook he was.
Family was everything to Norvell. He loved both sides of his family and whenever he would see you, he would always take the time to let you know he loved you. The love of his life was Iowana, his wife of 21 years. If you saw him nine times out of ten, she wouldn't be far away from him.
Norvell accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and later joined the family church Mt. Calvary Apostolic Church, where his uncle was the Bishop.
