Municipality of Trent Lakes

On behalf of Trent Lakes’ Council, residents and staff, I would like to welcome you to the beautiful area of Trent Lakes! In just a short drive, you can discover the communities of Kinmount, Burleigh Falls, Bobcaygeon and Buckhorn!

Known as the heart of the Kawarthas, Buckhorn is a small, charming town that will leave you with lasting memories and one-of-a-kind experiences.

After visiting by land or water, take a stroll down Lakehurst Road to grab an ice cream cone, do a little shopping, and eat lunch at one of the many restaurants by the water. Don’t leave Buckhorn without visiting the famous Adam and Eve Rocks!

Whether you are looking for the quiet countryside, or a cottage on the lake, Trent Lakes offers what you seek. We see the most visitors in the summer taking advantage of our many lakes, but winter is not to be overlooked! Take a ride on our abundance of snowmobile trails, then finish off the day warming up at the local winery.

Each season we are proud to welcome returning families and new visitors.

Being surrounded by lakes, rivers and trails, summer is our busiest time of year with cottaging, boating, fishing, swimming. Our other seasons offer lots of activities for the whole family like ice fishing, skiing, snowmobiling and skating on our new outdoor ice rink.
