Sometimes it can be quite hard to choose the agent you want to sell your property. They all seem nice enough and they all have pretty brochures (well most of them), they all claim to have buyers, all put their properties on all the same websites. So, it is understandable that sellers assume they are all pretty much the same, so will usually choose the agent with the lowest fees… BIG MISTAKE. HUGE. However, this is not always the case. The thing that really sets an agent apart is the skill set they possess. They have to know how to advise a seller of the things that are going to increase the value of their property. They need to be able to convince the seller of the importance of great presentation. They need to have the courage to point out possible objections to the property and offer solutions. They need to have the trades available to help out, and the willingness and contacts to get the quotes. They must be able to excite and motivate the buyers. They must create enthusiasm THE PROPERTY EXCHANGE
for the property. They must use diplomacy where necessary. They must be able to move the sale forward, ask the hard questions and take control at the negotiation table. Your Real Estate Agent must be a phycologist, an interior designer, a diplomat, a trusted advisor, a marketer, a negotiator, a mind reader, a top communicator and a night owl.
