Translation of The Newsbond.com feature on arrest of Terror Accomplice for supplying unaccredited degree New Reporter “UP ATS Team on Tuesday, 18th January 2011 has arrested a person by the name of Vijay Agarwal, owner of a private institute named Indian Institute of Professional Studies located in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. He has been accused of assisting Mumbai 2006 blasts accused Ata Ul Rahil. He has been accused of allowing Rahil to enrol for a computer course in 1997. Rahil studied here (at the institute) for 3 years and then he left the place in 1999. However, Rahil remained in regular contact with Agarwal.”

Brij Lal, ADG Law and Order “From the findings after the arrest of accused Vijay Agarwal, it is known that accused person by the name of Ata-Ur-Rahil who is a suspected in 2006 serial bomb blasts at various Mumbai railway stations, has completed his computer course at Vijay Agarwal’s institute from 1997 to 1999 and received a certificate for the same. On the basis of this certificate, Ata Ul Rahil got a passport made. On this basis, Mumbai ATS lodged a case against Vijay Agarwal for fraud and arrested him at that time. After getting bail, Vijay Agarwal did not turn up in court and jumped bail. Additional Chief Magistrate (Second), Mazgaon Mumbai issued an arrest warrant after Vijay Agarwal jumped bail. After the issue of warrant, ATS UP arrested Vijay Agarwal. He was produced at the court in Lucknow which issued a journey warrant; on the basis of the journey warrant, Mumbai ATS got him to Mumbai..”
