Earlier this month, we spoke to Tim Morris who is Managing Director at Cymphony, to find out a bit about himself and why Cymphony have chosen to sponsor the awards this year. Cymphony provide a wide range of services to the franchising sector and beyond, so it great to have Tim and the team sponsoring such a relevant awards category this year.

1. Please tell me a bit about yourself. What is your role with Cymphony?
I’m Managing Director heading up a fantastic team of +120 professionals in various roles throughout the business, supporting over 1200 clients
2. Who are Cymphony?
We specialise in supporting businesses with their outsourced needs for ‘in bound communications’. We provide solutions for lead management, reception services, order taking, message taking, payments, appointment making, web chat. Our ‘Lead2Succes’ service is industry leading, responding to web site generated form fill enquiries within 5 minutes of submission
3. Why have you chosen to sponsor the Virtual Franchising Awards 2023?
The major sector we work in is the franchise sector, providing services to many UK franchise brands, which prompted our interest in sponsoring the awards.
4. How does Cymphony support the franchising sector?

Our major focus of support is helping franchise brands maximise their inbound new enquiry opportunities. Our technology coupled with a specialist is designed to respond to leads within the recognised ‘window of prime opportunity’ of 5 minutes. We book appointments directly into franchisees or franchisors calendars. Our data shows we can uplift appointment conversions by around 25%
5. What does Cymphony hope to achieve within the franchising sector in the next 5 years?
Our knowledge and understanding of the franchising sector is both wide and deep. I personally have worked within the sector, directly, for over 40 years. As a company, we strive to build strong and and meaningful relationships with franchisors supporting them in their goal of increasing franchisee revenues and improving network profitability.

7. What is your biggest tip for businesses looking to be successful?
Always be open to change ‘If you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get what you’ve always got.
8. What are some of your hobbies and interests?
Walking – across fields, up and down hills, along deserted beaches.
