It's Back! And it's bigger than ever… The 2nd Annual Stockton Auto Show and Family Festival returns on Saturday, September 30, 2017, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds. This year is packed full of family fun and entertainment! In addition to the beautiful classics, (more than 100 were featured last year), new 2017-2018 vehicles will be on display. RTD, The National Guard and the San Joaquin County Sheriff will also be on hand with a cool selection of vehicles! In addition to the petting zoo and bounce houses we had last year, we've added attractions to the FREE Kids Zone, including a zip line, train rides and rock painting with Stockton Rocks! The Food Challenge is ON…With 11 food vendors competing for this year's title! Also, live music from Journey Revisited and Latin Magic, a vacation giveaway cruise to Mexico, and back by popular demand, Radiant Ride Fix-it Fest! This ensemble is dedicated to bringing the studio recordings of Journey to life on stage. While there are many Journey tributes out there, what sets Journey Revisited apart is their drive to recreate Journey’s iconic studio recordings, and give the fans an opportunity to re-live those musical masterpieces. Latin Magic Band was created by percussionist Peter Castañon in 1989. Peter grew up in a musical family dedicated to entertainment. His mother, Lillian Martinez, performed with Perez Prado, Lino Rodriquez Orquestra, and numerous local artists. At ten years old, Peter had the opportunity to perform with his mother Lillian and step-father Ernest Martinez in a hot Latino Band that was a 209 favorite. From that time on, he has performed locally and nationally with top name acts. Latin Magic Band has opened for internationally acclaimed acts including: Zapp, Teena Marie, War, Malo, Tito Puente, Gap Band, Tierra, Pete & Sheila Escovedo, and Con Funk Shun...only to mention a few. Cosmetic beauty for your car at the annual Stockton Auto Show & Family Festival

nless your car sits in a garage 365 days a year, it’s nearly impossible to have a dent-free, scratch-free and ding-free vehicle on the road. So here’s your chance to spruce up your car at the Fix-It Fest booth at the 2nd Annual Stockton Auto Show & Family Festival, slated for September 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. “We are doing minor cosmetic repairs, such as small dents and dings (two-inch range), alloy aluminum wheels (curb-rash), small windshield chips, interior repairs, headlights and small vinyl and leather repairs,” said Earl “Sticks” Brown, owner of Radiant Ride. Born and raised in Stockton, Earl earned the name “Sticks” from playing percussion with the Stockton Commodores Drum & Bugle Corps, and golf at the Brookside Country Club. His passion is cosmetic care for car owners. “With an extensive background in the vehicle appearance sector, I wanted to create a business that provides convenient cosmetic repairs for car owners. Drivers,

especially here in California, want their vehicles to look sharp,” he said. Cosmetic repairs at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds on S. Airport Way will be free, with the opportunity to donate to United Way. “We will be asking the public to make a donation to United Way at our event, in support of their annual campaign,” said Sticks. “During my college years, I had my first internship with United Way and worked up close with staff and community. Their mission and community involvement activities impacts hundreds of lives.” Sticks’ mission at Radiant Ride impacts car owners who don’t have a lot of time on their hands. “I started Radiant Ride to fill a niche and create a ‘one-stop-shop’ solution for car owners. Our business model delivers convenient cosmetic repairs,” he said. “They simply schedule an appointment for an oil change, dent fixed and windshield chip repaired – all in one visit at Big Valley Ford Lincoln. Saves a lot of time.” Sold as an add-on to new car buyers, customers can include Radiant Ride in the purchase of their new vehicle at delivery.
