hallo & hei, my name is theresa.
I am a funny, of course creative, communicative, sometimes, but really only sometimes, a bit clumsy and in general a warm person. And besides I am... a Designer living in Vienna and happy to collect new experiences. I was born into a family who have been carpenters for already three generations. Consequently, wood has always played a really important role in my life, to which I developed a strong emotional bond. The Scandinavian design, which I admire a lot, is an inspiring example for me how smart, natural, timeless and simple design can be. Thanks to my wide-ranging study program, which does not only teach classic product design but also interior design, marketing and management, I was able to acquire various skills. In addition to my drawing and graphic skills, I also benefit from my manual skills. I gained them during my five-year school education with a focus on interior design and furniture making. I strongly believe in the importance of sustainable design, where skillful and sensitive design is required. Designers have the chance to create a positive impact and should be aware of the responsibility everybody nowadays has. Please feel free to take a stroll through my selection, which will provide you a glimpse on my approach on design, my interests and my skills. Thank you for your time!

DIG AND TASTE. Design of an innovative vegetarian concept store with integrated restaurant and gardening area. We live in a society where almost every food item is always available, no matter which season. Because of the heteronomy of humans, a reference to where groceries come from and which workflows are behind their production is rare. In response to that, the idea of the shop concept DIG AND TASTE emerged. Vegetables are grown in separate garden centres and are later brought to the shop in harvest-ready and modular beds. At the shop the customer can harvest the ingredients by her-/himself. As a result, the consumer can experience the harvest process in a brief period and gain knowledge about the possible proceedings.

PRAXIS MOOS. Creating a corporate identity for a physiotherapy and shiatsu practice in salzburg.
The request of the customer was to design a corporate image, which should create a welcome, and calm atmosphere for the customers. Because the practice is settled in a district called moos (moss in englisch) another wish from the customer was to integrate the element moss in the design.
The project included the development of a website and the design of all stationaries like flyers, envelopes and businesscards. Furthermore advice on interior design and development of lamp installations for the Shiatsu area.

ZIAG. Co-founding and creation of a corporate identity for a refugee project in Austria. ZIAG is a social organization that focuses on small and medium-sized communities in Austria and supports them in the integration of refugees. A platform was created, which provides proven ideas and builds a bridge between those who are facing the challenge of integration and those who are full of ideas and solutions to overcome these challenges. We believe that positive co-residency with refugees within communities is possible. It`s the small ideas, that make a difference. In autumn 2016, the project won the Austrian Social Impact Award. AUGUST.INE. The task: Start your own business! AUGUST.INE – “fashion for the Alpine region“ The label reflects young modern lifestyle combined with traditional austrian roots. In a group of five we had to create a new brand, produce products we want to sell and develop a corporate identity for it. We started an online shop offering clothes, bags and caps with our designs and created marketing strategies. Therefore we produced imagevideos, had photoshootings and planned sales stategies.
BRAND MANAGEMENT - CORPORATE IDENTITY - PRODUCT DESIGN
2nd semester group project
in addition to product design, market analyzes and sales statistics were also compiled
NEAT. Development, design and construction of a lamp. The briefing was to create a lamp inspired by a design classic the correalistic rocker by Friedrich Kiesler. Based on the given design classic, a target group was developed which than should influence the finished design. A main requirement for the design of the lamp was to create at least two different lighting solutions.
Neat is a synonym for elegant, correct, pure and clean. When closed, NEAT radiates a clear, puristic appearance. The lamp looks like a sculpture in a room, which takes itself back, but occupies the viewer with its simplicity and elegance.

MONDRI. Development, design and construction of a furniture that can be assembled without screws and glue. The Dutch artist Piet Mondrian is the most important representative of the Dutch Constructivism. The design for the furniture „Mondri“ was inspired by his strict geometric paintings, which he created in the 1920s. The furniture takes the characteristic structure - the black grid in connection with rectangular shapes. To build it no glue and screws are needed. It´s made out of a simple plug-in connection. Like the paintings, which lead up to the present for inclusion in art, architecture, fashion, advertising and popular culture, I wanted to design a piece of furniture which is plain, simple and timeless.

IN.MOOD. Development, design and construction of a multifunctional outdoor furniture. The given theme for the Bachelorproject in furniture design was to create a mobile seating object which can be used outdoors. My idea was to develop a seating object for indoor and outdoor use combined with an adjustable lamp. A crucial point of this idea is to take the positive impact of light and spending time outside on human beings into account. The final product is the in.mood One - a variable object which can be used as a lamp, serves as a chair or sidetable and provides storage space. The lamp emits a warm dimmable light and can be used as a powerbank to charge your mobile phone. PRODUCT DESIGN - CRAFTSMANSHIP - BRAND DESIGN - MARKETING

for spending time outside?
the mobile lamp can be used together with the hollow part and serves as a stool, sidetable and storage space
using the two objects seperately, the lamp can be hanged on a tree, or placed on a table. the hollow object can still be used as a chair, sidetable or just provides storage space
FILMS & PELIS. Creating the appearance for a fictional animation film festival in Barcelona. The given task was to create a logo, which represents the theme of the festival in a simple way just by changing the letters. The idea of the logo was to represent an animation by displaying the playing letters. To emphasize the playing blocks more, these were drawn in a perspective. This element is taken up again and again in the designed products. In addition to the logo, various types of printing products, such as flyers, tickets and ID cards were designed for the employees. Likewise, T-shirts, banners and the facade of the venue were designed.
