Well, a motion filter, just like the one we received from Sandmarc, allows your iPhone to be able to produce these stunning photographs. The Motion Variable ND Filter allows you to adjust your iPhone camera to any environment, it is produced with a multi-coated cinema glass, which can add a wide range of possibilities to your creative content. The 3-6 Stops (ND8-ND64) filter comes in a protective pouch and with an phone clip mount for quick mounting and removal. The filter is compatible with the iPhone 5, iPhone 4, iPhone SE and newer including the iPhone 11 Pro Max, 11 Pro and 11, as well as the Samsung Note 10, S10 Plus, S10, S9, S9 Plus, Samsung Note 8, S8, S8 Plus, S7, S7 Edge, Google Pixel 3, Pixel 2, Pixel, Huawei P30 / P20 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro. It can also be attached to other Sandmarc lenses including the Wide, Anamorphic and Telephoto Lens thanks to the patented direct threading system which lets you attach the lens with no additional step-up rings or mounts. Once the filter is secured to phone or lens the ND levels can then be adjusted by rotating the front ring, there may be some minor vignetting when using Anamorphic lens. The frame is constructed from a tough but lightweight Aluminium, keeping the weight down to just 20g, and measures up at 40.6mm inner diameter and 58mm outer diameter. The cinema glass brings out true life colours by adjusting the exposure and avoiding cross vignetting (X bar) commonly seen in other variable ND filters, the markings indicate “ND” levels or “Stops of light” around the aluminium frame so you can remember what works well in certain situations. This filter comes to life on the new iPhone 11 models and can be used with the night mode in low light, suitable for photographers, film making or just more creative holiday shots who wants to play with long exposures and cinematic motion blur in film making.
