Hi, we’re Jessica and Robin! We are a husband and wife team living and working in Providence, Rhode Island, and we design hand-illustrated, handlettered stationery! Our story goes a little like this: When we were planning our wedding stationery, we couldn’t find something that felt exactly like us. So, as RISD graduates with illustration in our bones (Yup! We met in art school!), we decided to design our own invitations. We had so much fun doing it that we decided to launch an entire business around designing custom and semicustom wedding stationery suites, and There Will Be Cake was born! Once we had that under our belts, we decided we needed to find a way to offer things to non-engaged people, too! Now, we try and bring that same sense of creativity and personality to our stationery line. Whether through fun patterns, tiny animals, or embellished lettering, each piece we design reflects something we love. This catalog represents our debut wholesale line, and we are extremely excited to put it out into the world. This isn’t all, though, we have lots more planned for the future!
