Design Form Adventure
The core of the GLCR project is exploration. Exploring different points of view fosters unexpected detours which lead to incredible ideas. We dwell on objects seemingly far removed to create products that provide positive experiences. Innovative objects inspire outerwear in which everything has its place and each intricacy has a reason for being. It’s only when this critical balance is achieved that we allow a GLCR Project garment to breathe its first breath of life. The GLCR Project is a movement. One towards adventure and nature, with the occasional sidetrack to the center of the concrete jungles. GLCR Project outerwear has crossed the Arctic Circle, summited Denali, wandered Shibuya and won world championships. A perfectly procured garment may not cause immediate gratification but shall set you on your path. In the end, there is no certainty, there is only the adventure.

In the past few years Sammy has stood on top of some of the scariest lines in the world, cautiously heaving himself off the top and navigating his way over whatever obstacles come in his path. Sammy spends his entire winter living out of bounds. splitboarding, hiking, snowmobiling and camping the most desolate locations, tracking storms around the globe. Sammy spends spring in Alaska, filming for Teton Gravity Research and summers at home in Lake Tahoe with his wife and two daughters researching new spots for the next winter.

At the young age of 25, Parker White has accomplished more than most skiers will in a lifetime. Multiple magazine covers, a continuous stream of acclaimed video parts, signature model skis and multiple X-games Real Ski medals accompany Parker into the backcountry. Parker spends the bulk of his time in the winter atop his trusty snowmobile throughout North America and hiking around the French backcountry ranges searching for endless powder. A true mountain man, Parker spends his spring camping at ski resorts and summer hiking around the montana hills, preparing for fall hunting season.
Sean Busby GLCR EXPLORER WHITEFISH, MONTANA
Sean Busby’s off-the-grid lifestyle personifies that adventure that is GLCR. Sean and his wife (& fellow GLCR advocate), Mollie, live off the grid in Whitefish, MT. Completely integrated into nature, Sean’s solar powered yurt in Whitefish and 100% sustainable tiny-home cabin in Polebridge are only accessible via snowmobile when covered with snow. Sean has splitboarded on all seven continents and seasonally spends time snow camping in remote locations such as Iceland and Northern Norway. The founder of Riding On Insulin, a community for children with T1 diabetes, Sean continues to give back and share the spirit of stoke.

We continue our exploration for the next GLCR Advocate through our GLCR Project. Launched in Sept 2016, the GLCR Project provides end-users unprecedented global access to 686. Through an easy application process, anyone can apply to become the new GLCR ambassador and product tester. With over 5,000 applications already received, the next GLCR advocate is just around the corner. The GLCR Project ambassador program will continue to grow and applications are accepted year round with the ultimate goal of working with the best advocates and providing the most consumer-centric product in the industry.
