I wish I could see you in person to give hugs and congrats, but this video will have to do As the Alumni Director, it is my honor to be the first to say, “Welcome to the Roeper Alumni community!”

Roeper alumni are the most extraordinary and inspirational people I have ever met, and with the addition of each of you, that is truer than ever I am extremely excited for all of you because you are the first graduating class that I feel like I know fairly well We had a chance to get to know each other during your 9th grade trip to DC, which was my very first year at Roeper Because of that experience you all have a special place in my heart

Although it’s hard to see you go, I’m excited for you I hope you know that all of us at Roeper are rooting for you, and there is an entire community of over 2,000 Roeper alumni out there ready to welcome you with open arms And now that you’re alumni, you’ll have access to the online alumni directory so you can lean on each other whenever you need to

High school graduation is just the beginning for each of you Our hope is that this school has prepared you for the journey ahead and given you the skills and confidence to help you fulfill your own personal destiny, whatever that may be

Please know that in the years to come we want keep in touch with you We invite you to come back and visit, and please let us celebrate milestones with you, because you will always be a part of the Roeper family And I promise to do my best to help keep you connected to the school

You’ll be receiving a couple of special items from the alumni office to remind you of Roeper and each other One of which is a mug listing all of you I’ll be keeping one for myself and will think of you ever day as I drink my morning tea
