KIT NEW FACES ON THE BOARD

This year, the Board welcomes the following new trustees:

FRANCIS ALLEN Francis, Class of ’21, joins the Board as the new Student Representative. He is active in Model UN, soccer, debate and forensics, and has served on Student Government since Middle School. Francis is also a member of many student clubs such as the Business Club, Homecoming Committee, and the FUN FUN FUN Committee. His well-rounded Roeper experience helps him represent the students effectively.

CHERYL BLAU Cheryl is a graduate of the Class of 1980 and is the newest Alumni Representative. As a lifelong learner, Cheryl holds a Master’s degree in Education, a Master’s in Humanistic and Clinical Psychology, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. In addition to her work in research, educational training and curriculum development, Cheryl has been a classroom teacher for over 30 years in a variety of settings. The Board welcomes her extensive expertise and unique perspective.

KENNY MILLER The Board welcomes Kenny as the new Birmingham campus Parent Representative. Kenny and his wife, Sarah, have two girls — Alexa (12 th grade) and Elyse (8 th grade). The Miller Family joined our community in 2014, and they’ve all been engaged and involved from the start. In his professional life, Kenny is the Director of Benefits and Rewards Operations at GM. The Board is grateful for the professional and personal experience Kenny brings to his trusteeship role. F
