TRIANGLE FRAGRANCE: Magda Kahlifa
By Magda Khalifa
"It's uncanny to realize I've been self-employed for a decade I started a consultancy in 2012. Once I took ownership of the direction of my life, I realized my impact to help others would be limited if I didn't break free from employment into entrepreneurship."
Magda Khalifa is a US Army Special Operations combat veteran, business owner, speaker, and bestselling author. Magda grew up in the New York City area and worked in the information technology industry in the nineties. After witnessing the September 11th attacks and the aftermath, Magda was driven to change the direction of her life Magda enlisted in the US Army Reserve in a Special Operations Civil Affairs Unit. After two tours in Iraq, she returned home to face another battle, struggling with transition and health issues.
In 2020, just after her self-help memoir, "American DREAM: Discipline, Resilience, Endurance, Adaptability, and Mentorship to Succeed and Win in Life", was released, Magda launched Triangle Fragrance, a luxury men's and women's fragrance line Magda faced challenges with her fragrance company early on when COVID closed in on the world.
Magda's time in combat equipped her for entrepreneurship, starting with the non-stop operational tempo, the discipline and focus developed to get results, the resilience to get back up and keep going, the adaptability to think quickly, to be decisive, commit and execute, and the need for constant forward momentum to stay ahead of the enemy or competition in business On the battlefield, expedient solutions and outside-the-box thinking are essential, and that skill set is invaluable to solving business problems.
I understand the struggle of transitioning from uniform to being a civilian and the lack of purpose that follows, having been part of something greater than yourself. I encourage fellow veterans to use their battle-tested skills, experience, discipline, leadership, and tenacity to solve problems through entrepreneurship Americans crave Made in the USA products and need quality services from leaders with integrity and honor. What better way to continue the mission and defend the ideals of freedom than with a new chapter of entrepreneurshipsolving problems and expanding the capacity and capabilities of our nation?
