He is a disabled veteran who received his 85LB German-Shepherd service dog Barrett from Dogs4Warriors, when he realized there was potentially dangerous problem with his medical alert response dog and new best friend. Barrett routinely tore apart the toughest of chew toys, including those dubbed “indestructible”. James set his sights on finding a stronger, safer product for his new best friend and created the Barrett Ball.

When you donate your uniform, you can purchase your dog collar(s) made from the same fabric you or a loved one wore while serving and protecting this country. You can have Sewn-In-Honor sewn inside the collar with the name of the military person you want to honor. Pick one of three choices; "In honor of...", "In memory of..." or "Uniform worn by..."
