The Lopper
The Looper is a village planning project located at Dan Chang district, Suphanburi province, which reproduces the original campus of the previous project. As the campus grows, it is certain that the expansion of the surrounding community will occur. Moreover, there are key concepts in using renewable energy such as processing of campus agricultural-leftover to ethanol. After that, the final products used in the village. The village system is a loop called “zero waste energy system” and there is the concept of planning based on ethanol molecules that are determined Oxygen (O) bond is a core-bonds and distribute energy separately to every house in the village. Finally, the village becoming a Zero Waste Community such as ‘The Looper’.

analysis
Site analysis demonstrated both the best access to ethanol distribution, planning of village related to the original campus, as well as, watercourse and agricultural products that can be used as a component to further ethanol productions.
“Zero-waste energy systems” is a diagram showing the relationship between the village and campus including methods of managing waste both from agriculture and homes in order to change into energy and allowing every house in the village to do daily activities without losing energy. It also can generate energy from waste. By produce ethanol from food waste, then distributed to various houses resulting in no idle energy remaining or also known as “zero-waste energy”

The process of township expansion
0 Year - Campus has expanded more and more while the area of township is still empty.
3-5 Year - The housing of campus has expanded into the area of township and there are facilities and services to support these housings.
5-10 Year - The house starts to expand along the riverside and then the main facility and community’s recreation start to set up
10-15Year - The housing will be expanded towards the mountain and completely became the township as in the master plan.

Mai Rut Village
Mai Rut Village is one of the important artisanal fishing villages in the easternmost border of Thailand and became an essential node for the fishing industry between Thailand and Cambodia. In 1961,Thailand’s first National Economic and Social Development Plan was launched which introduced incomprehensive approaches that shifted the community into commercial fisheries and led to the expansion of the village without any environmental concerns. Improper planning for the development, overfishing and overpopulation .
“There are fish in the water, there is rice in the field.” This proverb is well described as abundant and fruitful living life in Thailand where local people can easily seek for natural resources to sustain their daily living around their neighborhood. WORKING ARCHIVE | 2015-2020
